I bought this after I used an older model at work. Actually, that day, I had went to get a haircut with a shampoo. They soaked the collar of my shirt. I used that gun to dry my shirt. The temp control was great - I didn't melt it or set it on fire, always a plus. I was thinking to myself at the time that this heat gun is the best one I have ever used. After that, I thought I wanted one for myself as I seem to have a need for these things for all sorts of occasions. I found this kit for a not too bad price and snapped it up. I am not disappointed.

digit temperature adjust is a must for me.. works as advertised.. 3 settings on air. price was good and shipped as advertised. Comes with an assortment of exchangeable tips another plus for me. I want to say they was advertisement for replacement tips another plus.

Take a bit of experimenting to get temperatures right, not much of a list for temps includeded

Couldn’t get solder sleeves to melt with my normal heat gun. This worked from the first one! Bravo.

Perfect works bad ass

This is my second Steinel heat gun. The previous purchase had a blow molded case where the gun would fit nicely with additional spaces for the odds and ends associated with the kit. This new purchase has a metal case with nothing inside but space. You have the gun plus all odds and ends just banging around inside. The heat gun itself is the quality that you should expect for the price. The case feels more like a dollar store purchase.

Died in a year and a half.
