I don't know what people are saying about this being "large." I am a short guy so ordered the S/M based on my 5' 7" height, and it was riding up high on my chest and is basically unusable. This was probably made for kids. If you feel it's too big, then maybe you got the Large-X-Large size for your kid or you don't know how to adjust the straps in the back. I got the S/M and it's way to small and I'm trying to stretch it out...but I think I basically just wasted my money as this isn't usable.
