Michael's short films all on one collection! It's absolutely fabulous, the quality is great, the menu's etc are great, the book is great and the packaging is Awesome! it has a lovely hologram front to it which really brings it to life. Michael Jackson - A legend Has full versions of short films such as bad, thriller etc. Only possible complaint would be not having the History March video sequence from other dvd's - but technically that's not a music video anyway. Without a doubt a Wonderful Collection of the best Music videos of all time. A GREAT BUY!

A great product with fantastic packaging, looks the part in any collection however would've liked to see upscaled versions of 'Speed Demon', 'Smooth Criminal' etc as they have had blu ray release with 'Moonwalker'.

This 3 disc set is in my opinion the definitive representation of Michael Jackson solo musical career as all his major Short Films are contained in this set. The picture and music is of a very high quality and the presentation of the title screens alone is very professional. The Holographic Case is beautifully designed and the companion booklet informative and interesting. Actually, in Truth - for me- MJ's work is something that goes far beyond words.... it touches the Heart and the Soul of people A Truly gifted Being that made an amazing contribution to Humanity through his music and dance ...through his Heart, such powerful deliveries of such Truths Gift of Life Nurturing, Respecting our Earth Mother and all her Inhabitants - All Children of Earth including Animals Oneness, Unity there is no colour, no gender, no caste nor creed in the Soul.. All are One Love, Joy, Passion, Fun, Happyness Service and Contribution ... Couldn't wait to watch this DVD Collection, and in general wasn't disappointed. I love everything Michael Jackson does. BUT why oh why did Sony put that awful remix version of 'Blood on the Dancefloor' on this DVD, I'm pleased I have the original on another Jackson offering. I also would have liked to have seen the full version of 'Ghost' on here but I guess Sony will make the most of all these short films and Live Performances of Michael's and will release them over the next few years. I think the packaging was very nice and enjoyed the Booklet too, all in all well worth the money and a lovely keepsake.

Wonderful box set, except for one thing: aspect ratio. It says on the back cover "Formatted for widescreen televisions". Because of the ratio they made (16:9), it's like the image of the videos was stretched to 640X480 (in terms of resolution), instead of 720X576. That means you don't get the full image, only a small percent of it. Shame for Sony! Let the image in the format it was meant to be (4:3) and let us chose from the remote control the aspect ratio we want!

Great video set.I loved the box,the booklet and the videos aswell.Nicely made.The good thing is that it has all Michael Jackson's short films in it.Only Blood On The Dancefloor video clip disappointed me because they have put the terrible remix version of it.They could put the original one instead.It's much better.There are long versions such as Black or White and You Rock My World.In the booklet there are awasome pictures of Michael Jackson.The bonus disc also has nice videos in it.It is a very nice set and good to have.

I've read multiple complaints here about people being upset over not including certain videos, but here's my take on it. Human Nature was not an official video, nor did he, his record label, studio, estate or anyone with connections to him whatsoever make, approve or consent to the video. I won't go as far as say it was a "fan video", but it's in the same category. I don't care if MTV or VH1 has shown it... they show a lot of things. Therefore, while I think it's not only his best song on Thriller, but one of the best 3 songs he's ever recorded; I'm not in the least bit sad or upset that it wasn't included here. Also, We are the World wasn't an official Michael Jackson video, it was a side project. So I can understand why that's not included either. If they were to include it, it should also be included in DVD sets of videos from every other artist in the video (yes, even Dan Aykroyd). When it comes to Smooth Criminal, which is one of the to 3 songs I mentioned above, I love the version they included. I think they wanted to include the most complete version that's considered an "official" video, and not that actual official video (plus, I HATE that the dance is sped up in the "actual" version, because I can't enjoy it). But I'm also one that thinks the full second verse included in the Moonwalker is the best verse/part of the song, so I'm happy that it's there no matter what the rest of the video looks like (I'd even deal with the nasty blur effect as long as the full verse is there). I had something else to say here but forgot what it was... I think my point is made though. I'm a little upset that the full version of Ghosts isn't included, but I realize DVD's can only have a certain number of GB on it, and/or only be a certain length of time. They probably got really close to that with the second DVD so I can completely understand why the 40 minute movie isn't on there. However, there was room on the third disc for at least the 9 minute video version of the song with the intro and outro. I mean, I know they wanted to do them in order, but Ghosts isn't exactly an "official album track" of his, is it? It could and should have been on the 3rd disc if they wanted to do it right. Including the full 18 minute movie version of Bad plus the 11 minute version of Black or White (with the banned 6-7 minute dancing outro) but not the full Ghosts is just unacceptable. However, I don't really care for Ghosts anyway (the song is mediocre at best, and the video is a disappointment to everything he's ever done... it's so unlike him). I don't really have any other complaints... everything is as it should be. The boxy format doesn't bother me, because when his videos were shot they didn't have big screen or wide screen, so in order to blow them up to be formatted to fit our televisions, they'd have to sacrifice some quality. And I know that's what remastering is for, but I'd rather see the videos in their original untouched format/quality (which I've learned is not how some of his early ones are in this set). Overall, as a lifetime fan of Michael Jackson (for 22 years now) and never having owned any of his sets, except for albums (no DVD's, no concerts, tours, behind the scenes, collections, etc.), I have to say I'm very pleased, impressed and excited at this over-the-top collection that I can sit and watch together, as a whole, for the very first time. Some videos (4 or 5 to be exact) I didn't even know existed... but some shouldn't have, and I can understand why I'd never seen them before (in the case of Speed Demon and Liberian Girl, for example). So, all-in-all, this set amazes me, and I'm glad I bought it. Because I now own one of the greatest, if not the greatest, collection of music videos ever filmed and compiled. I just wish they would have waited a month and then included the Hold My Hand video.

Vieles wurde hier schon über dieses Produkt gesagt, dass will ich nun auch noch ganz kurz machen! Als erstes möchte ich hier die Äußere Aufmachung beurteilen. Das verwendete Material ist erste Sahne und wunder schön gemacht! Der Schuber ist Stabil und der Aufdruck des Kunstoff-Schubers wirkt als ob es nicht nach häufiger Benutzung beschädigt werden würde. Die Wackelbilder auf dem PapCover sind auch sehr Schön und wirken aufwendig. Auf jedem einzelnen Wackelbild ist eine komplette Bewegung zu erkennen! Das Booklet, wirklich schön und aufwendig gemacht. Eckdaten mit Veröffentlichung Urheber und Album jedes einzelnen Videoklips sind enthalten mit zum jeweiligen Video gehörenden Bildern in wirklich hoher Qualität. Zu den DVD's selber: Das DVD-Menü öffnet sich Opulent mit einer Animation in der Michael eine Drehung macht und sein Hut weg wirft. Klingt super, sieht super aus! Die Filme sind wirklich Chronologisch geordnet und in einer guten Qualität. Sie wurden so aufgewertet als dass der wahre Charme der Clips auch erhalten bleibt, weshalb ich das Gemotze einiger Rezensoren nicht nachvollziehen kann. Wären sie noch weiter aufgemotzt worden, wäre vielleicht das was Michael mit den Damaligen Mitteln erschaffen wollte nicht erhalten geblieben! Es fehlen hier auch keine Clips, es geht hier ausschließlich um die Videosingles und nicht um die Filme wie Ghosts. Toll finde ich auch die Bonus DVD welche unveröffentlichte Videos die es noch auf keiner DVD gab beinhalten. Für mich war das ein Hauptgrund sie zu kaufen, da ich bis jetzt die Prisenversion von They Dont Care About Us noch auf keiner DVD hatte. Und dann noch das Video zu One More Chance. Gerade bei der dritten DVD wurde ganze Arbeit geleistet denn die alten Videos zu Blame It One The Boogie, Enjoy Your Selve, Can You Feel It, Say Say Say habe ich noch nie in einer Solch guten Qualität gesehen! Klar, die lezte DVD ist nicht ganz Chronolisch denn die Videos hätten vielleicht auch zwischen rein auf disk 1 und 2 gehört aber es sollen ja Bonustracks sein. Sie sind von den Jackson 5 und mit Paul Mc Cartney. They Dont Care About Us Prisson Version ist öffentlich nur sehr selten ausgestrahlt worden, da indiziert. Auch noch interessant, alle Videos sind ungekürzt dh. sie wurden so auch nicht ausgestrahlt. ZB in Scream hört man hier Janet Jackson F...k singen und sieht den immer geschnittenen Mittelfinger. Also alles die Versionen wie sie Michael Jackson wirklich darstellen wollte. Abschließend möchte ich sagen, dass diese Collection für mich sehr ehrend rüber kommt. Die ganze Aufmachung scheint MJ ehren zu wollen, und er selbe hätte diese sicher so autorisiert da er ein Perfektionist war, da bin ich mir ganz sicher! Klar, Michael hatte Auseinandersetzungen mit Sony und sie wollen nun auch noch fett Kohle mit ihm machen. Ich als Fan kann aber dennoch nicht auf diese Produkte verzichten da ich all seine Werke in meiner Sammlung haben möchte und zwar nicht als Raupkopie. Und ich glaube auch nicht an das so oft angeführte Mordkomplott gegen MJ seitens Sony! Wenn dann hätten sie ihn doch sicher noch zumindest die Uraufführung von This Is It machen lassen, um eine richtige Aufnahme davon zu haben und nochmal richtig Kohle scheffeln zu können. Hmm...das passt hier vielleicht nicht ganz hin, dass mag sein, äußern wollte ich mich dennoch dazu. Deshalb von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung für diejenigen, die eine Komplette Sammlung von Michael Jacksons VIDEO-SINGLES haben möchten! Ich hoffe noch auf eine DVD oder Blu-Ray Veröffentlichung der History Konzerte und Ghosts.
