Highly recommend.
Excellent through and through. Temps are low, the speed is blistering, great price to performance, great at gaming too, just all in all an amazing CPU. I definitely recommend. But if you wanna squeeze out every single frame in gaming, look into AMD. Intel does its own thing and it does it excellently.

Solid mid range CPU (not budget as sites would suggest)
Many sites call this a "budget" CPU, but when you're looking at spending over £300 on a processor, that really isn't in the realm of budget, nor does this perform in the budget realm! I spent many weeks looking at what processor to settle on before I ended up with this one. After a tonne of YouTube videos, I realised that whether I bought this (14600K) or spent another £100 on the next in line (14700K), I'd get no more performance at 4K. In the end, as much as I'd have liked for my build to have had a 7800x3D, I find myself just as satisfied with this, as the real world difference to the eye in terms of gaming (literally a few FPS when hitting 100+) is impossible to see. I also like that the Intel range don't have the "spikes" you have to worry about when installing the processor. All in all, intel as a brand is yet to let me down and I've not had to return a CPU to date. Considering the first processor I installed in a PC of my own build was an I7 920, that's an achievement. Buy with confidence and keep in mind that these CPU's keep good value, in 3 - 4 years, you could probably sell it for 40-50% of what you pay now.

Very high temps even with 360AIO but the price vs performance is worth it.
First off , this thing runs hotter than a nuclear reactor but it’s very powerful! I have a 360 AIO and temps were around the 85c mark. After some testing in the bios of my MSI MAG Z790 tomahawk I found some settings were WAY too high for default , CPU Lite load mode was set to 22 DEFAULT! That’s insane. After more messing with these settings I now run at 65-68c under full load using prime95 and it happily idles at 28-29c at 1.5w or around 4w browsing watching YouTube etc… this cpu is definitely worth the price all day long and overall I’m so happy with it , coming from a i7 8700 it’s a HUGE upgrade.

Fantastic Performance for the Price
I purchased the Intel® Core™ i5-14600K mainly because the price was unbeatable, and it turned out to be one of the best upgrades I've made. The performance is excellent for both gaming and everyday tasks. With 14 cores (6 Performance cores and 8 Efficient cores), it handles everything I throw at it without breaking a sweat. Games run smoothly, multitasking is effortless, and applications load quickly. I'm currently using it with an MSI Ventus OC 8GB graphics card (RTX 2060), and the combination works brilliantly. I've played demanding games such as Ark: Survival Ascended, Battlefield™ 6, SCUM, Rust, Once Human, and Dune: Awakening, and the experience has been flawless. The CPU keeps up easily, delivers stable performance, and has never felt like a bottleneck. I was pleasantly surprised by how responsive the whole system feels. Whether I'm gaming, browsing with dozens of tabs open, streaming content, or running applications in the background, everything remains fast and smooth. Installation was straightforward, and after setting everything up, the system has been running perfectly. Just keep in mind that, like most K-series processors, it can run warm under heavy loads, so pairing it with a good cooler is recommended. Overall, if you're looking for a powerful gaming and productivity CPU without spending flagship-level money, the Intel Core i5-14600K is an excellent choice. At the price I paid, it was an absolute bargain and exceeded my expectations.

Fast general-purpose processor that can still be air-cooled
The box arrived in 'used' state, but the chip is tested working, even with some undervolting. Snappy processor that boosts to 5.3 MHz. For the price, it competes well with the competition for gaming and multimedia workload.

BUY WHEN ON SALE
Bought it for $200 when it was on sale, one of the best mid-high gaming CPU’s, I would only upgrade if your going to play extreme Minecraft mod packs or high CPU tasks. Better speed than the 12700 and cheaper. If you have a motherboard that supports ddr4 and lga 1700 socket then this is probably one of the meta cpus because of the r shortage
