I have never been more disappointed with a purchase. I have only had this rug for two weeks and already it needs to be replaced with aomwthing else. Notice that with normal use for two weeks, the cloth pieces are coming out. It looks terrible. I would love to return this because it is not for everyday use.

Before purchasing this, I saw a ton of the reviewers expressing their issues with this rug. However, I love it! When you buy a rug like this, you do so know there will be some imperfections, some fabrics and threads which stick out, it is part of the appeal of these handmade rugs. I've always loved these because many of them are made from old Sari's.While the colors aren't exactly like the photos, there is still enough of the colors from the one I chose for it to work in my space. This rug is the perfect addition to my front hallway, adding some much needed color and softness to the floor.These rugs, at least from past experience can be a bit more delicate than other rugs, but that is due to their style and how they're made with the strips of old Sari fabric. I would definitely recommend this rug for someone who loves something that is slightly imperfect and needs some good pops of color.

I received today.. 😀 1 day EARLIER than anticipated.. I had actually tried to cancel it, couple hours after ordering... and go with a different rug in a different color.. but Amazon said it was too late.. Blessing in disguise!.. Yes.. it was supposed to be a green one.. but from reading the reviews, I knew what to expect.. a multi color rag rug with MAYBE a little more green than the other colors.. but honestly.. I didn't want a solid color.. and for a 2.5x8' kitchen runner under $30 ? This is awesome.. twice as thick as those cheapy rag rugs at Walmart.. and it's 8ft! Perfect to brighten up my gray and white kitchen, and definitely fits my coastal country boho style, lol.. Did I mention it was under $30?? Buy it!

I needed a solution for my elderly corgi who was slipping and sliding all over our hard tile floors. For my purposes, I couldn’t have found cuter for the cost... Now, bear in mind, she is 16, there is a potty pad on a tray in the bedroom for her, but she very occasionally misses getting her cute corgi rear-end over the entire pad. So while I have a good rug for my bedroom, I didn’t want to use it and have to steam it once a month. I needed something:A) WashableB) inexpensive (This is VERY AFFORDABLE— or was for me when I purchased)C) fairly soft to the touch and cushy for my dog-baby to get comfy on (Mine feels wonderful under foot. Thick and soft)D) Not so butt-ugly it causes eye-burn. (Mine is so cute!)I’d say this accomplishes those three things *really* well, plus it’s not even close to butt ugly, mine is really bright and very cute! Fun.However, there are a few cons that I feel I should point out, and it may or may not influence those of you who might have different intentions for this rug or are looking for other qualities.1) It’s stringy. You’ll have to give it a shake, then a haircut, then another shake, then a haircut, then...rinse-repeat. It’s the nature of chindi rag-rugs. I expected it, but it bears mentioning. Plan on getting the vacuum out a few times a week for 52 string pick up. Doesn’t bother me, because I have to suck up the dog hair that often anyway.2) Yes, you’ll need a pad/no skid tape unless you are putting it on carpet.3) It’s not gonna last forever. That’s also the nature of these rag-style rugs. You can wash it, but be **gentle** & know that it won’t last forever. You can be comforted by the fact that it’s an upcycled/recycled product made of scraps, -at least it got another life-, and hey, it’s VERY affordable, it’s not an investment rug.4) It’s thick enough to have problems next to a door. If you’re wanting it to go where a door will have to clear it, you’ll need really high door clearance. I had to do some arranging and I was glad I’d gone with a 3x5 vs a 4x6 for the small area I needed it in.5) Your color palette may vary, and the stitching might leave something to be desired. I knew it might be garish. I rolled the dice and was very happy.

This looks way better online than it does in person. This is a Rag Rug with probably only 20% cotton and the rest polyester, the fabrics were left with exposed raw edges which means it starts fraying before it’s even shipped. The only pulse side is the thickness., but due to the fraying fabric I would not recommend if you have babies in crawling stage. I’m using them under my Wire dog kennels to protect my wood floors so I wanted something inexpensive, this would not hold up in high traffic areas. You get what you pay for, I wasn’t expecting high quality and My fault forgetting to check if the fabric was 100% cotton as that wouldn’t fray. (My dogs making a cameo, this was her Idea of getting off the rug). By the way, I ordered 2 Green but too many blues and turquoise were used which overpower the look.

Absolutely LOVE this rug. We got it for something to put in our mud room. We have to medium size dogs that love to bring in tons of mud. I can clean them on this, and then throw it right into my front load washer. It is big and thick, so you have to have a large washer. It says to take it to the cleaner, but with as often as it is dirty in our house, I can't afford that. It held together perfectly when I washed and dried it. Came perfectly clean, too. Plus, at this great price, IF it falls apart, I can easily replace it.

This rug looks exactly as pictured and is sold at Target for much more. It is a woven rug, so snags should be expected but for the price, this will be easy to replace when that happens. The colors are very bright. It is thicker which makes standing on it very comfy. I would definitely buy again.

En las fotos se ve bonito pero cuidado, parece uno de esos tapetes de asiento de microbús viejo, está súper deshilachado y en algunas partes se sale la tela, básicamente está hecho de retazos de otras telas, no sigue un mismo patrón o color además de que no tiene base plástica por lo que jamás quedará unido al piso y van a estar moviéndolo con solo pasarle el pie. Muy feo, no lo recomiendo, espero las fotos se aprecien los detalles que menciono.

Pensé que era más grande pero realmente es como un tapete de entrada a una casa, es pequeño solo me sirvió para ponerlo junto a mi cama jaja pero por el precio estuvo bien sin embargo son los sobrantes de telas anteriores y con eso “medio” los unen y hacen un tapete de todos los colores, lo deje en mi cuarto pero no lo exhibiría a mis invitados. Tardo como 1 mes en llegar o más.

I have been looking for a green rug for a while now, and finally found this one. I wanted green …. Like the photo and was hoping for one similar as I chose green. I understand that it is handmade and all different but I am not sure it can be called green. Don’t think any angle will make a difference. This is a multi-colour rug not green in my opinion. I am a little disappointed. Not green at all. That being said, it adds colour to my new room, is very thick and comfortable. Due to the awesome price it is not worth sending back. It will work. Would have been 5 star had there been more green woven in.

The smell was so bad it was unbearable when we took the rug out of the packaging, it smelled like horrible body odor and feet. The loose threads were just neverending and would get stuck in our toes. I would not recommend this for people who have cats. The loose threads get stuck on the cats who ingest them while grooming themselves. There was a nasty brown stain that had seeped through to the other side of the rug right out of the packaging. So disappointed with this rug.

It is a lot thicker than I expected but it turned out to be a good thing - feels very nice to step on. However, because it is made of fragments of fabric, it does not look delicate. You'll see threads and pieces of fabric sticking out. It's not perfect but I'm happy with it. Just don't expect it to look like a high quality rug. I personally don't mind it cause it still looks cute-ish and feels nice. But I can definitely see others being annoyed if this rug is the focal point of the room.
