I ordered this set of Realtree long johns for my husband to keep him warm during the upcoming winter. He appreciates the high-quality material and the attractive camouflage design. However, a word of warning, if your husband typically wears a size large or 34-inch pants, the large in this set goes up to a 38 and may not fit as snugly as he would like. Instead, they fit more like comfortable, relaxed loungers. It's essential to check the sizing chart to ensure you choose the right size.Despite the sizing issue, these long johns are well-made, durable, and excellent for keeping warm in cold weather. Whether you're engaging in outdoor activities or simply trying to stay cozy at home, these thermal bottoms will do the job effectively.

I got these for ice fishing. The term "heavyweight" is sort of a misnomer. They might be thicker than thin cotton long underwear, but they are still a thin, albeit a little thicker. They washed nicely with almost no shrinkage. These are nice and warm and should provide a skin tight layer. The thing I appreciated most about these is the room in the crotch. A lot of time when I get long underwear, when they are snug (which they need to be), they seem to fit too tightly in the crotch area negatively impacting mobility. I want to be warm, but I don't want to be restricted. These are stretchy and offer good full mobility without any discomfort so you can be active and do plenty of bending and squatting without having them uncomfortably press into your crotch.

I wasn't sure exactly which size I would need, with one being a 36-38 and the next being a 40-42 (and me being in the middle), so I opted for the next size up -- the XL at 40-42. However, when I actually opened it up, the size of the garment was actually the 36-38, wrapped in a bag from a 40-42. Clearly this indicates that they might need some quality control. On the flip side, though, this size fit perfectly, so perhaps they are psychic?I had an occasion to use these on a golf round where the AM temp was only a few degrees above freezing. This heavyweight thermal kept me toasty warm the entire round, and I also had no issues with the wind as I usually do. I strongly recommend these for anyone needing to spend some time out in the cold.

These heavyweight fleece thermal bottoms fit me well; I'm typically a large and these were spot on. They're not too short or long and are neither too loose nor too tight.The bottoms are made of a material that's noticeably thick, but so thick as to be uncomfortable or difficult to wear as a layer. This is presumably the primary purpose of these bottoms, or at least that's how I'll be using them. The bottoms retain heat pretty well - I'm noticeably warmer when I wear them. Overall a very solid product!

Face things are not heavyweight run very large and baggy no way they can keep you warm would not buy

My husband usually wears an XL so that's what we ordered. He's 5'8" and about 240 pounds. These fit perfectly and the length was great. The material is soft on the outside and then there's a lining inside for warmth. They feel thin, but they're actually really warm. I was worried that they would be bulky under his coveralls, but they're not really that much thicker than his normal thermal pants. He really likes that the bottom is not gathered because it doesn't bunch up under his other clothes. These were better than expected and I'm glad we ordered them.

This is a review of Realtree Men's Heavyweight Fleece Thermal Underwear Long Johns Bottom.I ordered these pants as they are the primary style I wear all day. I generally get the light weight flannel type that work for day time and as night wear as well. I would not say, for me, these are as comfortable for night time though.They are made very durable and with great material. Even though it has not been really cold enough to test the thermal aspect of them, they do create heat and see no reason for them not to keep you warm, or to add an additional layer of warmth when it does get that cold.
