This is slightly larger than my leg (6'0 180# relatively fit) but does not get in the way. The front holds an A5 or 1/2 Letter notepad.The interior sleeves are A5 which are slightly smaller than 1/2 of US Letter 8.5x11, but easy enough to fold or cut to fit.At the time of this writing I'm a student pilot with 55 hours. This is the best fit I have found for my needs. I use the sleeves for my flight plans with some VFR fixes and a backup print of the runways at the primary and alternate destinations, and it's nice to be able to reuse these for common/frequent flights.I have only used this for a few weeks, maybe 10-15 hours, but so far it seems durable and that it will last for a long time.

This is my first kneeboard, I'm a student pilot and wanted something beyond memory and sticky notes before getting into solos and XC. So far I'm happy with this. It works fine in a PA28 for me (about 5'10" 170lbs.) It's large enough to be useful but small enough it doesn't interfere with flight controls. It stores in my bag easily and is quick to put on.The whole thing opens like a book. The front has a clipboard that holds a common 5x8 writing pad and my pen. It comes with A5 2-ring page protectors which are a bit too small for half an 8.5x11 letter page. The binder is nice for carrying references of ceilings, airport diagrams, procedures, etc. It has a folder pocket inside and a spot for an ID card. The front also has a clear cover for writing clearances or logs with a wax pen. Finally, it has large pads on the bottom to keep it from wobbling and sliding. The straps are stretchy and velcro but otherwise have no adjustment.

Very happy with this so far! I've been using it about twice a week for the last 3 months and it's perfect for what I need. Several sleeves to stick in airport maps extra notes whatever. Separate area to put in license certifications excetera. Front clip with clear cover to keep your pumps available and also a notepad. I'm pretty small at 5 for and this fits me perfectly to still have room to move the yolk. Excited to use it as I progressed further in my flying !

Stiching of the Velcro came loose after 6 months of use. Expected a better quality on this. Other than that it’s great. It’s about 3/4 of an inch thick so make sure you have free and correct controls.

The knee board is really great, but the front plastic wasn't as stable when I erase.

Kneeboard is stable and has 3-ring binder to hold checklists and approach plates so they do not end up on the floor

best value... great addition to my flightbag. versatile and expandible
