Cute, Comfie, But Size Up
I was looking for sweat shorts to wear to physical therapy after hip replacement surgery, and I ordered multiple brands/styles to try. This was the perfect pair for me. Being only 5-4 and curvy, if shorts are too long or roomy, I look like I've tied a sack around my waist. These are the right length and not tight but not too baggy -- perfect to be flattering to my figure. I will definitely order these in more colors now that I found the correct size. These run small for me. I'm 5-4 and a curvy 130 lbs, and I usually would wear a size small. My waist is a good 10 inches smaller than my hips, for reference, so I sometimes do need to size up in pants so they will go over my hips and that was the case with these shorts. Based on my measurements and this sizing guide, I first ordered an XS, but it was way too small. I couldn't get them over my upper thighs. I returned those and ordered a medium, guessing that I needed to size up 2 sizes, and that turned out to be the right size for me. There is some stretch to these, but not a lot at the waist band. So keep that in mind when considering your own shape!

Comfy & multipurpose
I purchased these shorts to wear around the house and to take camping they are a little snug on the way so I recommend the curvy girls size up one size other than that they are medium thickness and have pockets!!

Despite a little lack of stretch in the waistband, very cute and comfy!
For reference, I am 5’4”, somewhere around 95 pounds, approximate measurements 31” bust, 24” waist, 33” hip. Obviously the bust doesn’t really apply here, but I’ve wanted to help out anyone struggling on the smaller end of the size spectrum with some reviews from someone with similar measurements and body size. It can be really difficult to find adult-sized clothing that will fit, especially on Amazon, when you’re very petite (as in typically needing xx-small sizes).I tried like four or five pairs of shorts and returned all but these and one other (for which I will also leave a review). The others were also size x-small, but of course sizes can vary greatly between brands and styles. All were too large to even wear for any purpose. Always consult the size charts, especially if you’re on either end of the size spectrum as opposed to somewhere in the middle. Perhaps that goes without saying, but still, it’s been very important for me.I first became acquainted with this brand via their tight-fitting cropped tanks, which I love and fit as well as they can for someone like me. So I figured I’d try some shorts. After trying the others I’d bought and being sorely disappointed in fit, I was very pleased when putting these on. I could feel the tightness / lack of stretch in the waistband that others have mentioned, but once they were on it was not bothersome at all. In fact, I still made use of the drawstring to get a better fit around the waist despite that initially tight feeling when putting them on. So, it’s a bit odd and I’d consider it a flaw in design, and it may be really problematic for others, but considering the price I can’t complain too much. The fabric is your basic cotton sweatpant type, but it’s smooth, relatively soft, and not scratchy or anything. They’re comfy! The thickness and prominence of the waistband gives a particular look beyond basic sweat shorts. Very cute imo. The waist is cinched but the sort of flowy nature of the rest of the shorts makes for a flattering cut. I don’t feel they are too short, but I am also a shorter person, so that’s always a factor. The waist sits fairly high up, so they go really well with cropped or generally shorter cut tops. They may look a bit bulky or awkward under a longer top, but I’d imagine that would only be for a longer top that is tighter-fitting throughout. That said, it’d be easy enough to tuck a longer top in to get the look you want. I don’t personally own any bodysuits, but I could see them working really well under these as well if you don’t want to show any midriff.I tend to only wear black if I can help it for my basics, so they are not see-through. But they are thick enough and loose enough in the legs that I’d imagine they wouldn’t cause problems in that department in most any other color. A side-note on thickness: they’re just right for me. Thick enough for coverage and comfort, not too thick so as to make you overheat.Overall, I’d definitely say these are petite-approved, and for other sizes I’m sure they’d be just as great, so long as that lack of stretch in the waist doesn’t bother you and you’re not so tall that your booty is exposed, unless of course you’re into that, and if you are, go for it! Again, they’re comfy and flattering. Great for anything from workouts to lounging and sleep. I can’t speak on durability yet as I have not washed them. But, as I’ll always mention, if you experience pilling, a fabric shaver is fantastic to have on hand. Another great basic with a slightly elevated look from this brand.

Comfy
Super comfortable, not too thick. They are not fleece lined which I am thankful for so I can wear them in the summer. Very good quality. Good, deep pockets as well. Great item to have for some summer shorts.

Fabric is nice but it’s just ok
Usually I wear a large or a medium for shorts or leggings. I read a review stating to get a bigger size and Iam glad I listened to that. There is 0 stretch in waist. So if you have baby making hips then size up😉. It does fit awkward in the crotch, tends to ride up. The quality is of thick sweat pants and is soft. This isn’t going to be my shorts to wear out of the house but for lounging and bedtime there good.
