Bought this Vantrue E1 Lite in July 2024 and here we are in January 2026. Still going strong. Still impressed. Knock on wood, I have not needed it for an accident. But I have used it to rewind a few “you had to be there” moments from my daily drive. It just sits there, quiet and steady, a silent sentinel watching the road while I live my life. This is truly a set-it-and-forget-it dashcam. It powers on, records, and does its thing without drama. The app connects easily and pulling footage is quick and painless. Video quality at 1080p is clear and reliable, day or night. Big win for South Florida drivers: it has survived relentless heat, day in and day out, without missing a beat. I did replace the memory card once, which is expected with constant recording and overwriting. No issues beyond that. Installation was simple, and the adhesive mount is rock solid. It has not budged. If you want peace of mind without overthinking it, this is it. Solid performance, dependable recording, and at this price point, it is an easy yes. Protect yourself and protect your investment.

Good dash camera, have few of them for my vehicles and does great job

Only thing I dont like is there's a speedometer on the camera. That isn't advertised.

After I got in an accident recently and found my old webcam completely non-functional (other than recordings of me parking in the garage), I was pissed. I wanted a new webcam that was clear and would clearly indicate that it was recording without being huge and in the way. This was the one I chose. It's small, but has a blinking light that shows it is recording. It makes a tone that indicates it turns on and off when you start and stop your ignition. I can review the footage with the little screen without trying to fiddle with the camera wifi. (I mean who wants to fiddle with the wifi on your camera?, is putting a couple of buttons on the device so hard?) It is clear even though it doesn't have the highest resolution, but in turn, that makes the files smaller and more manageable without a super fast sd card. I highly recommend the E1 Lite, I liked it so much, I even got one for my dad.
