Perfect for me
I have done my share of mindfulness and other forms of meditation. And I have participated in a fair amount of retreats. It took me about 5 minutes to adjust to Ira's style and format, then I was ready to go. The video and audio quality are OK. Instead using pen and paper, I used my phone's note pad. Seriously though, you need to put some effort as his presentation is part lecture and part meditation. BTW, if you want meditation to work, one should meditate (practice) at least twice a day for 15-30 minutes. It should get to a point where you want to do it, like having a meal. Anyway, I'm impressed so I'm considering utilizing Ira's remote coaching sessions. Hope you have success.

Worth watching if you are stressed. Who isn't?
There are some medical stressors and anxiety afoot in our lives. A friend suggested that we use meditation or mindfulness to alleviate the pressure. This tape gives perspective to life's phenomena and incorporates those views into useful meditation exercises. We watched it twice and did feel calmer as a result.The cons are that the film is of poor quality. The images of a man sitting in a cross-legged pose for 5 minutes at a time are worthless. It might be better for the narrator to continue walking the student through the exercise for an extended period. Also, what does it mean, "Fish did not discover water?"

Difficult to find a perfect mindfulness DVD
Difficult to find a perfect mindfulness DVD. You've gotta like the sound of the voice. For me, this was okay; wouldn't do it again.

INSIGHTFUL & HELPFUL
I found this video to be very insightful and helpful for my anxiety/stress/anger. Feeling at peace after these meditations.

Forehead vs. Farhead?
I thought this was great. For some reason thought, he keeps calling your forehead a "far-head". After he said it the fourth time I had to stop the video because I was just laughing too much. I think he did it on purpose. Brilliant.

excellent introduction to meditation
I'm very pleased with this dvd. I enjoyed the presenter (Ira Israel). He had a pleasant voice and his presentations before each meditation session provided food for thought and a very good introduction to the meditation. Unlike others I've bought there was no irritating voice or style, no jarring music and no babbling brooks!
