Arctic Silver Ceramique 2 2.7g Arcticlean and Lint Free Cloth

Wonderful stuff. If you need to remove old thermal paste from a heatsink and processor or any other type of semiconductor then you need this. It makes the job so much easier.A few drops of bottle number one and the old thermal paste quickly liquefies allowing for easy wiping, whilst the second bottle makes the surface nice and shiny ready for new thermal paste. The lint free cloths included with this kit are very good quality and were the main reason I bought this set, many forum posts talk about using coffee filters to clean off old paste but they aren't very common around here.The Ceramique 2 thermal paste does the job just fine and I've used it in a few different laptops without issue.Update: A year later and the Ceramique 2 is still going strong on several laptops (unlike MX-4 which turns to mush after a few months).

This solution is really awesome. I cleaned off my CPU which had excessive amount of paste on it and a few drops and some wiping cleans it brilliantly. Really worth the money if you want to replace of heat sink or just renew the contact. I haven't used any other solutions like this so I can't really compare but having said that, there's nothing I would really say is a con for this product, especially considering it's price.
