Derwent Spritzer (Pack of 3)

I love this little spritzer. I use it when painting watercolour paints or even using watercolour pencils. If I need to add a little water to my paper, rather than wetting a brush I can give it a quick squirt with the spritzer. It is small and only holds a small amount of water - if you want a larger spray then I suggest you use a plant spray SIBEL PVC Ball water spray bottle - 340ml - Silver . This pops into one of my art boxes  Daler Rowney Caddy Box , whereas a large plant spray would not.Derwent products are all well made, so I do not have any problems with the actual spray of water.

Just the job for keepung the canvas wet, very useful for acrylics. Nice compact size.

I bought this for misting plants! It's hard to get a plant mister that sprays fine enough mist, and doesn't leak. This is perfect. I'll also use this for misting the earth around seedlings. It doesnt hold much water, but i can mist a really big swiss cheese plant with the water it holds. And yes, i will also use this for my watercolours! And it's a good tool for dampening hair back into place when its all stuck up after laying on it all night!

I'm hoping to be able to increase the star rating in a couple of weeks, having just taken delivery of a second spritzer. The first simply stopped working after a few days (and not many spritzes) and nothing I tried could get it going again.When it works, it's perfect for dampening watercolours in preparation for use. I don't use it on paper - or at least I haven't done so yet - but I can see that the fine spray might give some interesting effects. Let's just hope that the second one works properly, as it's a very useful little item.

An excellent water spray for any water based art. Easy to use and refill, with a fine spray that is very controllable. Happy to recommend.

I haven't used this yet as it's for a project I haven't yet started. However, I bought the block dyes for the project and saw this (and the grater which is also sold separately on Amazon) so I bought them as I can see how useful they will be once I start my project. The grater will allow me to scatter tiny quantities of the dye onto my fabric and the spritzer will allow me to moisten it to get the colour into the fabric without fear of putting colour where I don't want or need it. I am sure it will be a real help with more detailed dyeing tasks where I want a tiny splash or spot of colour and not a blob!

I paint with watercolor. His very fine mist is perfect for my studio needs.
