These WORK! I have bought a similar product that is sold dry. They have a short shelf life and all the fungus gnats came back. These being moist gave me hope as bacteria need moisture to survive. Opened the packet, had a definite bacterial smell. I use one in a 15L container to soak before watering my houseplants. The brew smells exactly like a bacterial culture. After a few days the number of flying gnats reduced significantly. So happy! The water is STANKY though.

I used only half of a disc because the container I needed this for isn’t very big.So far so good, seems to be working and isn’t affecting the water plants.Edit: a couple of weeks on; water full of mosquito larvae. Disappointed and going to add a whole block to see if that works…

Had loads a lot of Fungus gnats in my house as I have a lot of potted plants. These worked really well in getting rid of them plus they last a long time.You can crumble them into the top soil but as I have a lot of plants I simply broke 2 blocks in half and put all the pieces inside a watering can and left it for a day to release into the water. I used it to water all the house plants making sure to wet all the top soil as that is where gnats lay there larvae.Its been about 5 days in there are lots less gnats flying round! Plus I used some sticky paperThey release for 30 days so can just refill and use every time in future

Put into the pond. It looks like so far the larvae are 'eating' the block will see how it goes .

1 tablet/ office should be enough for a 200ltr water butt. There were already mosquito larvae in the butt so I broke one up and swirled the water so it dispersed quicker to kill the then living larvae. 3 days later I open my butt to find mosquitoes flying at me and larvae still swimming about. I don't want mosquitoes in my butt and this product doesn't solve the issue.

Little uncertain about this product.. It actually works really wellGnats started breeding in the top layer soil in my large indoor plant pot, then an infestation started annoying little critters that have a shelf life of about a week.But they breed ten hundred fold over, so trick is to stop breeding cycle which after 2 - 3 weeks success!Be persistent I sliced up thin pieces from the block and pulled back the soil and buried the sliced blocks about an inch all around inside of the pot and covered over with soil .Also had a few gnats hanging around the kitchen and bathroom sink and shower cubicle .. as they also live in drainage pipes and gutters. So sliced few large bits from the blocks and put in the water traps.Definitely highly recommend this product

After building a brand new pond I noticed a massive infestation of mosquito larvae. I used the whole pack so not a cheap solution, but it seemed to get rid of them in a few days. I’m hoping once done natural predators move in I won’t need to resort to these next year

Excellent product. Used in two water butts leaving lots of mozzie corpses. No detrimental effect on the wildlife in the pond into which the butts overflow. Needs to be used regularly through the season which makes it a bit expensive but worth the money.
