Over time my Bats have become loose, and this has been working well to stabile my throwing.

Great for pottery
This was recommended by my pottery teacher to keep the bat stable when throwing pottery. It works well! Just as good as more expensive options.

Really does help with bat wobble
It's been really nice when throwing in a studio that's not mine when dealing with warped bats. Keeps them in place and helps even when using larger amounts of clay. It did immediately start leaking blue pigment when using it and stained my apron but after ringing it out a few times it seems to be taken care.of. I'd recommend doing that before you use it. Get it a bit wet before putting it on the bat to help.

Holds plastic speedball batts in place as if I was using proper pin system. However, I did notice >2lbs and more force caused it to slip twice. If <2lb on the wheel this is a great alternative to dropping holes into the wheel.
