Not satisfied for that price!
It smells. No matter what setting it is on it has a bad musty odor. It's right in front of a window and still smells!! I bought asmaller one a couple years ago and it was nice but cant find that make or model.

FYI, Specs here don't match the Hessaire website- LOOK
I ordered this based on the data on Hessaire's website. According to their website, this is the best unit they sell, which is why I ordered it. Here are the specs given:Airflow Delivery 2,100CFMCooling Area 750 Sq.Ft.Water Reservoir 7.5 GallonsElectric Consumption 1.6A/160WDimensions 15″ L x 18″ W x 45″ HWeight 34 lbsAfter I receive the unit, I'll update my review so it shows as a verified purchase. I've owned two Hessaire units, both spectacular but without oscillating louvers, which distribute the cool air from side to side. I've owned MANY evaporative coolers, and besides ambient humidity, two other big factors in how well they perform are the square footage of the cooling pads (the more the better), and the heat in the area the pads (or the back of the unit) are placed. You get maximum heat exchange and thus cooling with direct sun on the pads. That old chestnut (as other reviewers here may attest) about evaporative coolers only being able to cool approximately 15 degrees is sheer baloney, in the desert with a large rooftop unit and direct sun one can cool an entire house to temperatures cold enough to hang meat. Anyway, wanted to correct the information on the square footage and CFM rating. If you found this helpful please click the helpful button. Thanks!

Good unit for RVs
I'm using this to cool a 36' toy hauler using solar panels and an inverter to keep cool without running the AC and generator. I have the unit in the front bedroom with a window open and run the ceiling vent in the rear of the trailer to move the air throughout. It is important to keep bringing in fresh dry air otherwise it gets swampy inside and no more cooling. As long as there is low humidity outside I'm able to maintain the interior 20 degrees cooler than the outside temperature with the cooler's fan speed on low. The fan draws about 1.2 Amps on low, 1.7 Amps on high. Water consumption is about 1-2 gallons per hour depending temp, humidity, and fan speed.
