So first things first, this is memory foam like your Emma mattresses and the like. You unwrap it and you need to let it take its shape over 24-48hrs.Mine was fully expanded after 24hrs, the cover was easy to get on and it fits right up to the settee, doesn't take up too much room, so I'm really happy with this.I bought it for my 20yo cat and previously had a wooden ramp insitu, but his eyesight has deteriorated greatly and with him being quite wobbly too, I was afraid he would hurt himself on the hard and sharp edges of the wooden ramp. This is nice and soft, but sturdy. When going down, he is a bit trepid, and with the slight slope he can slide down a bit, but not enough to fall off. He is quite confident going up and down it now and it's been about a week since we put it in place. The dog (JRT) and other cat avoid using it completely so I would not recommend it if your animal is able and mobile.

This was so easy to assemble, it came vacuum packed and I just had to zip the cover on…..which is also a great idea as it’s washable.The sloping steps make it so easy for my older chihuahua to get up and down from the sofa safely and the shape and height is perfect for my sofa. It feels sturdy but light enough that I can move it around with ease…..I will be purchasing another one for upstairs, especially as the price is so reasonable.

Easy to assemble, packed well and compacted. Very sturdy, safe due to the non slip cover which is easily removed to wash.

I purchased this for my Yorkie as he was struggling to get onto the bed. It does the job nicely, it took a couple of days for him to realise what it was for but now he is able to climb onto the bed himself without any prompting. I would say that I am not sure if this would be suitable for a larger dog but it works well for my needs.It took a bit of effort to put the cover onto the foam steps and zip it up, but that means it is not too loose, which I noticed seemed to be a problem with some of the others I looked at.

I must have received mine through a different means than the other reviewers. This is squished beyond all recognition from the photo.Very disappointed. Now have to repack and return.

Bought this because the dog was struggling to get on the settee because he's an old boy.Well packaged and very easy to set up. The removable/ washable cover is a great result!Bloody dog won't use it, decided to show off how he's still able to jump on the couch!!! Can't teach an old dog and all that I guess ha ha

Our dog has recently had some issues with her hind legs and we bought this to help her to continue to enjoy her spot on the sofa. She is nervous about steps in general, so it was lovely to see her brave these ones to get to her safe place.The steps are very stable and have a very gentle incline. Very happy with the purchase.
