all skin colors matter and are beautiful
My children love these markers. I love these markers. I wanted markers like this when I was a kid, and I love that they are finally a thing. They bring my children's artwork to life! I only wish that they were sold everywhere markers are sold. I think any kids who use markers should have the opportunity to color with beautiful, accurate skin-tone colors. If you are in any way hesitating to buy these, please just buy them! They are so worth it. Skin colors are worth celebrating and they are worth getting accurate. It may seem like a small thing for young artists to have accurate skin colors to draw pictures with, but really, it says in a big way, "My skin color is special. Other people's skin colors are special too." Seriously so worth it.

Makes coloring more fun! Test the colors before using, though
My four-year-old is picky about his coloring. He was often frustrated that all the light-skinned characters in his coloring books had to be left white with no color, and all the other characters could only be very dark brown. Even at his age he knows people come in a whole spectrum of colors When this came in the mail, he spent the whole day coloring with them, and now they are part of his regular art supplies.I will say though, the colors on the caps don't always represent the color on the paper very well. I recommend testing the markers on separate paper before using them on the project you're working on, to make sure it's the color you want.

Great Water Based Markers for My Mixed Media Projects
These water based markers are perfect for my mixed media projects. The colors go on nice and smooth when used dry and when the colored area is wet with a brush, they can be combined and blended like watercolors. You can also color them on a paper palette and use a brush to apply color as pastel watercolors. Why pay more for water based markers? There is no compromise on quality when you buy crayola markers and the money saved can go into items that are more pricey, like artist quality paints and paper. This particular group of colors is great for human skin tones and conservative hair colors (combining and blending with a wet brush) but also for neutrals in many other projects.

Worthwhile addition to classroom
We used these in the classroom for a few different CRT activities. The colors obviously can't match every skin tone but my students enjoyed playing with blending to find their combo. I do think they should add a couple more shades. My students came back to borrow them for projects for their other classes. I will definitely repurchase.

Wish they'd offer a Fine Line set, too!
Over the years, we have had several boxes of Crayola's older version of these Multicultural markers with only eight, so we were happy to see Sepia and Apricot were added the line-up of Mahogany, Tawny, Terra Cotta, Bronze, Golden Beige, Sienna, Tan, and Beige. These are, hands down, the best markers for natural skin-tones and hair colors. The only downside is that they don't come in THIN-LINE tips, which would be fantastic! My daughter uses these regularly, and even her favored shades usually last about 7+ months for her, so the Subscribe & Save is a great option! Great purchase, I know we'll be back for more!

Great addition to my Crayola marker collection
Great price, good color selection, & very useful addition to my crayola marker collection. I'm a little disappointed that this new skin-tone set is not available as Supertips since I'm not a huge fan of the wide barrel markers but they are still worth it. I also wish there were more light tones in this set & I'd also prefer the existing colors to be a little less saturated. I know it sounds like I'm complaining but I'm really just wishful thinking. Overall, I really like this set very much & my "complaints" (not sure if even call them that) are applicable to Crayola's entire marker collection which is generally lacking in both light shades & unsaturated colors.

Appreciate the skin you're in :)
Got these for my son (in October 2019 I believe) because he was having trouble loving the skin he was in 😔. After a long talk with him I decided to get him these markers to help with the issue. Not even a week later he was coming home from kindergarten with black super hero coloring pages. The best part was seeing his writing journal with all his friends with their correct skin colors. It definitely made me cry.To this day he will chose one of these colors for skin colors.I shouldn't have to pay extra for skin colors, but I will. Every kid should know everyone is not the same shade of tan or brown at an early age. This is a must have for kids.

I knew I wasn't peach.
As a youngin', I knew my skin color was not brown, black, or peach. It's somewhere in between all three but I was never able to recreate my shade, even when combining all three when I colored. Granted I was never the best artist, but now I don't have to be. Turns out I'm a Medium Almond (or a Light Medium Golden on a good day). Thanks crayola!

Más de lo que esperaba
Me gustan!

It's a start
Still nothing that seems to come close to my mixed race child's skin, though we appreciate that there is more variance in this back and the attempt at representation. More variance in warm and cool browns would be helpful... 4 browns are nearly identical in ink, in spite of casing having variance.
