Great replacement for inhouse blower motor & control module.
I had lots of trouble narrowing down the actual problem with the in-house blower motor. It ran continuously and after eliminating everything else (with lots of help from YouTube) I concluded that the fault was in the control module attached to the motor. I did extensive searches for a direct replacement. This unit showed up on Amazon and the reviews were exactly what I needed to take the leap and order it.As with most things Amazon, it arrived in two days. This morning I spent just a bit over an hour doing the replacement and final checks to ensure it was running properly and reacting to thermostat signals. If you need an in-house blower motor and/or control module this fits both issues. This combo was actually cheaper than I was able to find the control module by itself. Just ensure that you get a compatible unit. I matched the motor HP and control module numbers.Good product with excellent instructions covering many install situations.

Saved a lot of $$$$
When the blower motor goes out in the middle of summer and the HVAC guy tries to sell you a whole new central air system. You do a ton research! It’s a task to replace a motor, but certainly not impossible. I just couldn’t believe I was being upsold a brand new 12k HVAC system which only needed a motor replacement.Ok rant over. After doing research and being told I could only get the motor through the manufacturer which would cost $2,500, I found this motor here on Amazon. I saved myself a lot of money. Purchased July of 2023 and it’s February 2024 and still working perfectly fine.

Cost effective and quiet
I had noise problems with my HVAC blower motor for a few months and it finally stopped working. The AC company quoted me $1200 for the motor, $600 for the squirrel wheel, and $800 for labour. Plus tax. Equalling $2,800 plus 2 weeks for parts and scheduling.I had already paid $250 for the house call.I decided to go solo and ordered this motor. Amazon delivered in 2 days. Which gave me time to remove the old one and clean the fan.It took me 5 gruesome hours in the 150 degrees Fahrenheit attic and $350. But I conquered it 😌😌😌I am grateful to Amazon and the motor company for a great product. It saved me $2,500 and lots of headaches.

Got My Goodman Working Again
Used this for a roof mounted Goodman AC unit. Easy to install and wire. Installed, powered up, it did its self speed test or whatever the manual called it, and took off blowing air. No complaints. Read the manual that comes with it lots of good info in it

Great replacement motor for Genteq 5SME39NXL178
My blower motor in my fan coil went out. Saw good reviews on this motor and figured it was worth a shot. The model number I replaced was for Genteq 5SME39NXL178. It was essentially plug and play. 100% worth it.Side note: I saw on an HVAC forum that Genteq motors were no longer made by GE because of their bad bearings and high failure rate. I continued reading about it and learned that the newer Genteq motors were made by Regal Rexnord and had better bearings. Well who makes this evergreen motor? You got it, Regal. So it's an upgrade from the original GE Genteq motor. Or at least, allegedly. I'm no HVAC expert. I can, however, watch youtube videos and replace blower motors.
