Kombat UKMen's Recon Tactical Fleece Hoodie

The delivery took ages but when I contacted the seller they were really good, they found out what had happened to the jacket - lost in the post - and got another delivered to me very quickly. I bought it in a large size and I would say it is very slightly too large and that the arm length is very slightly too short. That noted it doesn't disappoint and I think it looks good for what it is and for my intended purpose as an inner layer for hill walking or being out in the cold doing gardening and doing work to my car it will do the job nicely. I don't think it will be particularly warm just by itself but as an additional layer with its hood it's a good addition to the gear I already have. It has two useful front pockets that have inner layers for storing smaller objects like mobile phones to keep them in place and very useful pockets in the arms. Overall I'm happy with it and as long as you don't expect it to stand up to the elements just by itself then you won't be disappointed.

Looks to be quite well made. Nice fleece material. There are plenty of pockets. Some small zipped pockets on the arm, too small for your phone to fit in any of these, but there are other pockets which also have pockets inside them . There are velcro patches at the top of each arm.The back/bottom of the hoodie is slightly longer so it doesn't ride up when you bend over. The zip has an inner cover at the top so that you don't get a cold zip against your chin (I like this). The hood is nice and large, and it's almost like a snood when it's down, so it keeps the heat in. I think it's supposed to be an inner jacket, as it has a button hole at the end of each sleeve. But you could quite easily wear it on it's own. I've worn it under an outer layer and it's nice and warm. I like it and wear it often.

This jacket is excellent value for money. I read other reviews before buying & i'm glad i wasn't swayed by reviews complaining about the Quality.I bought this jacket 3 months ago and have machine washed it several times. I have had no issues with faulty zips & all stiching is still firmly in place.The jacket is quality, especially considering the price. (price does vary from time to time. I paid around £25 inc packaging) It looks good, it feels great to wear, it's very comfortable & warm and the hood is just the right size. There are numerous pockets & the 2 main pockets are higher than usual, but for me this only makes it more comfortable to wear. An inside pocket would have been ideal, just some stitching across the base of one of the other pocket linings and you'd have had one.Each main pocket has (pen holders)? i find that an e-cig or vapouriser fits perfectly snug inside.Smaller pockets on the sleeve are well made and can be very useful.All in all this a a great buy, so good infact I bought a 2nd jacket..Here in lies the reason for 3 stars. The 1st jacket I ordered was black, so the 2nd jacket I ordered was grey. I received another black jacket. I would definitely have bought more colours but now my confidence in the seller has taken a huge knock. 18 days is a long time to wait for an order which is wrong. Very disapointed.

Was looking for a warm fleece to walk the dogs - as a product this is superb - fits very well (XL - I usually buy 42") and is wonderfully warm. My only gripe was the customer service. I understood that this was shipped from Ireland (actually the postmark was Northern Ireland so I don't quite understand the delay) and would therefore take a while. After a couple of weeks - and yes, during the advertised delivery window still - I politely enquired when it might arrive via email. After a couple of email exchanges I was told I could always buy it somewhere else and that there were plenty of suppliers closer to me!. So in summary, great product but be careful where you buy it from unless you want to wait. I for one will buy similar products buy from mainland suppliers.

not bad. but the price though should be Cheaper or less than £25 for this type of fleece.it is cheaper to buy Fleece jackets in Primark Stores. the only thing is Mostly are Non hoodie or withOut the hood.also you can choose from this not too thin type fleece (£9). Or their Thicker Sherpa/Fur lined (£18) fleece where the sleeves are cuffed.the Primark's Camo Hoodie fleece with kangaroo/pouch type pockets (or Non zippered pockets) costs only £9.this Kombat UK fleece i received is Darker camouflage in colour. it should be nice if it's the same one pictured which is a Brighter camo. Also its width and sleeve length is fine but its body length is a bit Short (as shown in the photo) compared to the ones sold at Primarks.i only bought this fleece jacket because it is in Camo colour (Unique) with its pockets Zippered or have zippers and most esp. it has a Hood!*Both brands are made in China.

nice quality, just a bit small in length, I am 6 ft 3 inch tall, could do with an extra 8 to 10 inches in length, but couldn't we all! Could also do with the body pockets being attached to the body at the top, they are not sewn in and tend to catch on the arms of my fishing chair, but if you dont have a fishing chair with arms on it my thoughts are this would probably not be too much of an issue.

Nice and warm, lots of pockets, but they seem to have run out of money and made the pocket liners out of a horrible thin netting...I would definitely not trust them enough to put my wallet into them, also the inside pocket (also cheap netting) isn't even sown at the bottom (if you put anything in at the top, it will fall out the bottom!).Its a shame because the fleece is well made, but if you like to walk with your hands in your pockets, they will come out looking like you have a horrible disease, because they will take on the pattern of the cheap netting!.I'm tempted to take apart an old fleece and attach the pockets to my new one...If the manufacturers of the fleece (Kombat UK) are reading this, put proper pockets in, & you have a 5 star product... lose the cheap and nasty netting...Cmdr.
