Have currently used this to treat a sebaceous cyst on my long coat Shephard after applying hot compresses for 4 days, three times a day, cyst begin to drain, wiped it with Witch Hazel with aloe for 2 wks, followed with DMSO last week to make sure sack of cyst cleared as well. Sure beat the $300 one vet wanted for surgery and glad my dog didn't have to go thru that. I have even used it on myself for pain and inflammation on my hand. Have used it on my horses sore leg. Great stuff. You will want to wear rubber gloves, not latex, if you are going to be using more than just a couple fingers to apply it or you might get a garlic taste in your mouth.

Does it work? No clue. Lots of people say yes. I was using it on my dog for a cyst. Used it about a week before I couldn't stand the smell any longer. Had to wash her hair several times to get rid of the fishy odor. Did the cyst pop? yeah, eventually weeks later following discontinuing use. Did this help it? No clue - maybe. Your experience may be different than mine. For me, I'm undecided.
