These work great! But you need to look at 3M recommendations for how their adhesion works. I was impatient at first and all the clips fell off. I came close to returning the product. But, I found this on another 3M product and followed the timing and voila!!! They worked great to hang a heavy duty extension cord across a wall. 3M product recommendations, can't say it's from 3M exactly, but this worked:"At room temperature after application, the bond strength approximately 50% of the ultimate strength will be achieved after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours and 100% after 72 hours. Handling Strength is typically achieved immediately after application of pressure to the bonded components."Patience is the magic sauce for the adhesion! 💪🏽😎👍🏼

Used these to attach Twinkly lights to flashing outside the house. The flashing is old and weathered, but these provided plenty of grip to hold the strands even while working. I oriented them in such a way that the winding wire created tension around the corners, and they held on. They're all still there as I took the lights down, and none of them fell off. Will buy more because getting new flashing this year.

First time I tried to use them, I didn't read the directions at all. I figured you just stick these on and go, nope.You need to put them on and let them sit there for 24 hours. When I tried it the correct way, they stuck with no problems and have not fallen. I used them to hold the pendant light cord after hanging the light on a metal hook. I would buy these again.

This is amazingly strong, it is hard to remove, which is a good thing as it means it's not going to fall off, I had to use tools to get it off, and that is good to know that it is strong, so do not misplace it.

I didn’t even clean my walls and they are stuck to my walls for months now. We’ll see if they stay on during the hot humid season.

The plastic clips are okay - durable and flexible, but the 3M double sided tape attached sticks just fine to most surfaces, but not to the clips themselves. Even with relatively light tension, over a couple of days the clip will pull right off of the double sided tape, but the tape will still be firmly attached to what it was stuck to. I ended up using the clips by taking off the attached tape (which easily removes) and using glue to hold them in place - but even then some glues will not stick to these clips either. I had to experiment with several types & brands (including some that have worked great on other plastics for me) before I found one that would adhere strongly to these plastic clips (which was Gorilla extra strength construction adhesive).

It’s great. The VHB tape is very very strong so make sure that you are putting it where you want it. Ha.
