15 LITRE PLASTIC BUCKET WITH LID, DURABLE, GLOSSED, HARD WEARING BUCKET

Very good.

I bought this to replace a 25litre bucket which was too large, but this didn't seem much smaller..... I wanted it for compostable items from the house to collect and then take to my allotment for the cmpost bins. It is excellent - the metal jhandle has a wooden hand grip so it is easy and comfortable to carry and the airtight lid fits so well there are no smells escaping into the kitchen.i would have given it 5 stars, except the lid is so tight fitting it is quite difficult to remove - the plastic edges are sharp, so I wear gloves. The bucket feels reliably sturdy, although I haven't had it long and don't carry anything very heavy, I don't doubt it would cope whatever it wsused for.It arrived promptly before the expected delivery date and was very securly plastic wrapped and bound with parcel tape sp well that I had a job getting it unpacked. The lid had to have a removable plastic tag cut with a stanley knife and the tag pulled off to expose the rim area where the lid could be removed - similar in style to plastic soup cartons. It was very awkward and I needed the assistance of a strong man, but it was OK after that. A Otherwise very pleased knob or handle of some kind on the lid would make it easier to manage and hold. Otyherwise I am pleased with it and it is certainly great alue for the price.

Used it for a water feeder for our chickens. Fab. Nice, clunky lid

Seems exactly as described, gloss bucket, sturdy but the lid is just a bit too tight, really difficult to get off the first few times, hopefully will soften a little in time.

I made elderflower wine in it. The wine is absolutely revolting, but makes good loo cleaner - I will try the bucket when I attempt cider !!
