Unusable! Absolutely every red tile damaged on a least 2 sides and also much smaller in all 3 dimensions than the black counterparts (which, were identicaly sized and square-edged at least!) Therefor,e not only is the chequerboard effect not possible, were you to try and use these, the gapping and bevelled edges would provide zero sound absorption.Gaps - no matter how small - are the enemy of the sound engineer, recording artist, etc. Some edges are so rough they appear to have been manually cut with a bread knife or similar, if it was machine cut, then it was on an angle whilst the foam was pressed, meaning they cut on the wonk, and were never square to expand back to. And "yes", I've given them 3 days in a centrally -heated space to spring back. As I said, the black ones are fine. So, what the hell happened to the red ones. The reds cannot even be used on their own, nevermind integrated with others. They're not even value; as, having been forced to look elsewhere, I've found better (and larger) ones at less than half the price!

Buy cheap and you’ll buy twice...
These may be suitable for some people but having purchased the EQ Acoustic foam panels (30x30 ones) before these, the difference in quality is astounding (and the EQ Acoustic panels don’t come in air tight packaging). As you can see from the pictures, I only opened the black ones to let them breathe for an hour so that they rise and take there proper shape. However the red ones started to rise in the packaging and you can see that the red are much better than the black - I have no idea why. It’s like a home cooked burger sitting next to a McDonald’s. They are also cut so badly that you will need to trim them to sit well next to each other. Honestly, you’re paying £30-£40 but only half of them (if that) are useable. Don’t waste your money by thinking you’re getting more for your money, you’re not.

I wouldn't buy again.
I was very shocked too see how they arrived, They came in a very small box and hydraulic pressed into a small bag. I wouldn't buy these If you dont have an area to let them dry out after wetting them. I was lucky to have a sunny day in my area so I was able to let them dry.I only bought these for decorating my exterior wall in my room so I cant tell if the sound is damped or not.But for the amount of work I had to do to let then soak in water then dry then stick to the wall was a little too much.

Definitely worth a go!
After much deliberation I decided to use this brand of foam as opposed to the more expensive ones as I was not setting up a professional studio only a home one, but that being said the difference that this has made to the room acoustics, when the walls are completely covered, is fantastic and would happily use this again.Following a delivery error from Royal Mail, Arrowzoom contacted me and have since been eager to make sure that I am happy, so cannot fault the company at all!All I can say in the possible negative (although this is subjective to each room) is that most foam tiles come as 30cm squares, these come in 25cm squares which might mean having to spend a little extra as you're not covering as much space per tile. Quality is great though and does exactly what I wanted it too!

Must have for audiophiles and sound experts
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I work in the music industry and have my own home recording studio so I can say a thing or two regarding sound control and ways to improve the sound environment through acoustical treatment.First thing I wanted to do was treat the echo bouncing in my work space so I ordered several packs of these wedge acoustic foam tiles and had them covered across my wall through adhesive spray. The package arrived fast and compressed as described, and let it sit and soak in water then it will turn to normal and use.The application of the product was simple and straight forward. Easy to install, recommend.

Dense, sturdy and professional looking.
I used 3M command strips (pack of 48) to stick my panels up. These are so dense and actually premium feeling in comparison to others, including some more expensive variants. Easily stuck the command strips on the back of the panels and they look official. Clearly less echo in the room having installed all 12 of mine, but I clearly need a few more. For under £30, you can't complain.I'm not professional sound recorder, but my condenser mic is clearly picking up my voice clearer than when I had no foam.

The red Ines are fine. The black ones are imperfect and less than half the height. Please send some good black ones!
