The dog bed I received took about 3 days to gain full size.There was a small amount of “new” smell to it. The cats liked the pet bed first. The dogs rotate sleeping in the bed.I purchased the bed for a dachshund mix who had back surgery about a month ago for a spinal disc that slipped completely out of the spine rut to an unfortunate acccident.He has made an almost complete ❤️‍🩹 recovery for which I am thankful to God because the alternative was euthanizing.At the beginning he had lost the ability to urinate independently and needed a Foley catheter and had no bowel control.You can understand that I needed a comfortable bed that was also a hospital bed. Yes there are other options on Amazon and between Amazon and pet stores, I’ve tried many.This review is for you all out there who are wondering of this is the best purchase for the money.I have purchased different pet beds for cats and dogs for many years. Usually they sleep on a blanket that they move and create a nest for their individual needs. Yeah, they are spoiled.Blankets are easier to wash.Pet beds are a waste of money even the ones that have zippers.This pet bed has zero zippers. I knew this would be a disposable pet bed. I always prefer beds with zippers to avoid filling a landfill.In this case, I wanted the bed to be comfortable for the dog’s back. He has a very long, but short body.You can see from the video that he likes the bed but struggles to get comfortable because he cannot stretch fully.My plan is to purchase a longer bed. He is unable to curl like he did before the back surgery. The surgery was performed by a visit veterinarian at Sage in Round Rock Texas. This is not an ad. This is a fact. This dog acts as a therapeutic dog for a disabled family member. He is very good at his job. I do not believe he is replaceable. So I invest in him and all my pet friends.I highly recommend considering your pet’s sleeping style. If this dog could curl, this bed would have been perfect for him. He spends most of his days sleeping stretched out on the bare floor because it’s temperature is cool and he can stretch out fully. He often uses this bed as a pillow as he sleeps on the floor. It’s just the right softness and height for his head.As you see from the video, a longer bed would have given him the option to fully stretch his back.The seams in the bed are well construction. None of the pet claws have torn the fabric as they try to create a nest in the bed.A large long haired cat also enjoys the same bed and stretches out fully rolling side to side. I like that the bed does not pull pet hair like tape. I also like that the bed does not hold odor after a rain.Some pet beds are very warm which is great in the Winter but not so great in the summer. This bed seems to be okay until the outside temperature rises into the near 100 degree range. When the inside temperature warms, the dogs reject the bed and use the cooler bare floor.My plan is to purchase a longer vision of this bed.Keep in mind that the dogs did not like this bed for several days and would not use it. One cat used it immediately. So give the bed time to become part of the household smells. My dogs fluffed the bed themselves.My hope is that I’ve given enough information to help you make an informed purchase. Sometimes he puts his weaker leg since the shallow part of the bed opening and the rest of his body stretches onto the floor.One photo shows how he uses the bed as a pillow as he sleeps on the door aligning his spine between two different beds. The other furry bed seems to be too hot in the summer months.The next photo shows a Chihuahua- Bichon mix 23 inches from top of nose to base of tail using the same bed and the booster as a pillow. He’s older and wiser, so he uses the diagonal length of the bed to stretch out fully as he sleeps.Cheers~

New puppy came our way in January. He loves this bed. I ordered a larger size as he is growing every day. He also loves to think his bed is one giant toy! However, the bed is comfy. It has withstood his attempts to turn it into a toy. The color is wonderful; washing is easy. Overall, great dog bed.

My dog is an 18lb miniature schnauzer mixed so I got the 30 size. As soon as I took the bed out of package she jumped in it for a nap. It hadn’t even aired out yet! The sides are not as sturdy as I hoped but she doesn’t mind! I tried to fluff it out some more but she wouldn’t let me touch it!

I like the bed. The sides are soft, durable, and sturdy. I had a different bed for my schnauzer, and she must have chewed a hole in it, so I bought this one as a replacement. This bed comes vacuum-sealed, so you need to let it breathe for at least an hour and preferably 24 hours before using it. I put the old bed next to this one, and my dog preferred the old bed. That may be because of smells, but we did allow the bed to breathe for over 24 hours. I like how plush it is, but it's the dog who gets to sleep in the bed. We removed the old bed, and she slept in the new one just fine. She will get used to it over time. This bed is a good value for the price, and I would probably purchase it again.

My little Sami dog LOVES this dog bed! It’s the perfect size for her ( she’s 16 lbs of Cairn Terrier) It’s big enough for her to stretch out in ( altho she does sort of drape over the sides ) but also the perfect size to snuggle into to stay warm & cozy when the nights are cold. I’ve had a couple of these over the last couple of years & they wash beautifully! I use scent free laundry soap, a little bit of Borax ( LOVE Borax to get stuff really clean) warm water & extra rinse , gentle cycle & then into the dryer on medium. It’s literally as good as new even after 4 washes! And the price is beyond excellent for the size & quality of this dog bed! I’ve had LOTS of pet beds over the years & all of them have been expensive, but still poorly made. When it comes to pet beds, I’ve found that price is not necessarily indicative of quality & most of them have started falling apart after the first wash ( and I wash very carefully) These “JoeJoy” dog beds are still firmly stuffed, the sides aren’t caving in & there is still plenty of padding / stuffing on the bottom to be comfy. At this great price, I have 3.. one upstairs, one down & one on the front porch for hanging out in to visit with the neighbors.😊 The bed arrives in a vacuum sealed plastic bag about the size of a large phone book ( do those even still exist?🙄) Anyhoo… TRY THIS BED, you & your fur baby will be very happy you did!🐾 🤎🐾🖤🐾🩶🐾🤎🐾🖤🐾🩶

The two things I really like about this bed are the softness and the firm side walls. The inner lining is so full of fleecy softness. The dogs jumped right in when I placed the beds on the floor. The outer walls of the bed are nice and firm so the dogs seem to feel protected. Very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend.

There is not enough structure to this bed. Too soft. When my dog lies on it, the sides flatten out. Would not recommend.

This is a great dog bed. Nice and fluffy and with a pad on the bottom with sticky things on it that let it keep from slipping on the floor. It is sturdy and very I think it will be durable although I haven't had it long enough to tell. My dog loves it. It came beautifully packaged. It was vacuum sealed so you have to let it expand for awhile before use. I would definitely buy it again.

This rectangular dog bed is perfect for puppies to stretch out in! I had bought a round bed & she wouldn’t use it….but she loves this comfy, cozy bed & is actually using it! Well made!

Ordered this bed for my Labrador. Should have ordered a larger bed or X large bed. The medium was too small for her. She lays in it with her head on a pillow outside of the bed. It is a beautiful bed and very well made.
