I love smoked meals. I used to eat a lot of smoked meats, but since I kept getting sick from eating meat a few years ago, I needed to find alternatives. I never thought I would, but I turned to plant based meats. While these do mimick the taste of real meat quite well, one thing I've noticed is that most of the plant based meats aren't smoked. I ordered this liquid smoke to add to some of my plant based meat recipes as well as some other foods. It really gives it a nice kick, it has such a strong smoky taste! I add this to my plant based tacos, burgers, ham, as well as to eggs, mashed potatoes, stuffing, quiche, macaroni and cheese and more. This is the best liquid smoke I've tried! Highly HIGHLY recommend trying!

I don't have a smoker, so I wanted to find a workaround. This does the job! I like the fact that I can add a few drops to soups, or any other food that I may wish, and it tastes wonderful! Almost as good as having a smoker… But a lot less expensive.

Great to add that smoky flavor to vegan “meats”. Often it is the smoky flavor, garlic etc. that folks are missing ( not the dead flesh itself). We use this in tofu, seitan, Just Eggs, baked potatoes and so much more.

Love this stuff - a must-have in any vegetarian pantry! I recently copped the family for Christmas who love to grumble about my vegetarian household (except for my vegan sister! haha) and some of the sides dishes I made were definitely taken to another level using this. For example, I used it in a baba ganoush dip as I had to cook the eggplants in the oven, not grill/bbq, and it gave it such a wonderful, smoky depth of flavour without being sickly, fake or overpowering the other ingredients, as some liquid smoke can.

I do not have access to a smoker here, so I ended up making some pulled pork BBQ in my pressure cooker. This hickory smoke flavor was the perfect touch to make it taste like the BBQ back home and gave it that smoky flavor you would get from traditional cooking methods. I would definitely buy this again in the future.

Smells great, tastes great, easy to use, lots of strength so you just need a few drops to get a smokey flavour and that makes it great value for money. Not just for BBQ flavour, either. I like smoked fish chowder, but my favourite canned fish chowder isn't smoked, so a couple of drops and, bingo!, smoked fish chowder!

I have to say the flavour is a lot more subtle than I was expecting but the smell is out of this world! And the flavour is definitely there, I just have to use a bit more than expected. Definitely good quality, tasty, and excellent for us non-meat eaters who miss that smokey taste.
