Very nice style and build. In a dark room you can see that the touch switch glows faintly - an unexpected nice touch. Lights the desk with no glare and the shade is shaped perfectly to keep direct light from the "bulb" out of your eyes.I bought this bundled with the floor lamp (also excellent). That lower price made it an excellent value. My first one was defective but Brightech replaced it immediately with one that works properly. One word of caution: discard the tiny set screw and allen key that come with this lamp - it isn't needed and the threads in the shade will strip before the screw tightens.

Yes this is basically a replica of a well known lamp, but the updates to it like the dimmer and MagSafe charging are great. Nicely made and I would definitely buy it again

It is simple to assemble and takes little time. A tiny Allen wrench and a tiny screw are included with the light, which is necessary to secure the lamp head to the stand. Three brightness settings are available via the touch feature at the top, adding to its adaptability. The lamp head can also be turned to direct light where it is needed. Although it may not work with all phone cases, the base has a wireless phone charger, which is a handy feature.All things considered, this lamp is a good option for everyday usage because it combines design and utility, although it might not be suitable for more stringent lighting needs.

It has modern, understated, and, I dare say, masculine look about it.The leaf-like shade rotates on its axis allowing some form of direction for the LED lamp hidden inside. The on-off and dimming button sits on the very top of the vertical pole from which the leaf amp extends. The button glows with a very soft almost unnoticeable light while the lamp is off.This button placement makes the lamp fashionable and unique, but a bit uncomfortable and fidgety to manage - you have to place your finger exactly on top of it. It's specially tricky if I'm already in bed as I have to reach up all the way to the top of the lamp and hit the target. Nothing to write home about, really - it IS a good lamp!The capacity to charge select smart devices wirelessly sits very subtly on the round base, again, a nice stylish touch.My only issue for deducting the one star (should've been half a star) was the assembly instructions. The lamp comes with a tiny, slim allen wrench, and an almost microscopic screw with an allen socket that's meant to secure the LED leaf in place.It took me too many frustrating minutes to fight with the screw (so tiny, it almost looked like dirt had fallen on the zip baggie the wrench came in). It fell, it bounced, it got lost, found, and never actually fit in the lamp's minuscule groove! So I gave up...Worst of all, it is completely unnecessary!!! The leaf lamp will never fall off the main pedestal unless you seriously yank it off, so why the needless fuss?I like it, go ahead and get it, just don't try to deal with the silly screw!

My partner and I loved the floor lamp from restoration hardware with an almost identical design. At 690 dollars that was too steep. This table lamp looks expensive but at a fraction of the price. Bonus for the phone charger

When I saw this lamp I figured if it was as described it would be a great lamp for me. Now that I have had it for a while, turns out I was wrong.Not because it's not a terrific lamp. It is. It's the "for me" part of the equation where things go wrong. I was happily using it, until I wasn't. The lamp is now safely ensconced with my wife, who likes it as much as I do. I have been using it there to be able to write this review.The toughest thing with this lamp is the assembly. While most of it is easy, there is one place in particular, where the lamp itself (that is, the part containing the bulb) attaches to the neck (which attaches to the lamp's shaft, where a very small screw must be fit into a vary tiny hole by use of a very tiny Allen wrench. The screw and the hole are almost imperceptible, and fitting one into the other is pretty difficult; I have no idea what happens if the screw gets dropped and lost.Once the lamp is together and plugged in it works very well. This is strictly a lamp for a desk or similar sized area. It is not big enough to light up a room, even a smaller one, but it provides excellent light for your desk. It is operated by touching a control at the top of the unit. There is no remote nor app. There are several differing intensities of light that can be set, and reading and working is very easy with the amount of light offered. The lamp also has a very heavy base for its size and stays put-to me, this is much better and more secure than the clamp to the desk variety, which is less stable and can only be affixed where there is room to do so. The neck and bulb unit can be spun around and the lamp itself can be rotated up and down. The base has a wireless charger-it is not the fastest I have tried but it does work.This lamp is certainly not the cheapest, but given its construction and how well it works I think the price is justified. If you want an excellent desk lamp this should certainly be on your list. And if you don't believe me just ask my wife.
