Jack the Ripper
Peter Underwood has written a thoroughly enjoyable book on the Ripper. As well as detailing the murders he lists possible suspects. But what I find most interesting is that he also suggests two new suspects. If you want an overview on the Ripper murders this is a brilliant place to start.

I thought this would be interesting
The author stated many things but gives no information to back up their statements. Perhaps the author should read Mr. Westcott books about the Whitechapel and Bank Holiday murders.

A Great Read
I really enjoyed this book. Over the years I have read many books on this subject. Some have been awful, poorly written and full of mistakes, others have been focused on one suspect. This book looks at the bigger picture and I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in The Whitechapel Murders.

Unreliable
This book relies on information provided by others, notably Donald McCormick and the Dutton diaries and John Morrison's views on Mary Kelly. These sources are generally considered to be unreliable. The most interesting, and valuable aspects are the end sections where several people, including James Tully, talk about their experiences with the case.
