I wrote a negative review on this product and, after further testing, realized that it's NOT the POWRUI unit, it was the USB cord. But in a weird way. When I plugged a non-working iPhone charger cord into one of the USB ports, for some reason the OTHER THREE USB ports stopped working. When I used a working iPhone charger cord into one of the USB ports (and it worked), the other three ports still work! Lesson: Check your USB charger cord first!!! And check it again before writing an incorrect negative review!By the way, the reason I even rechecked the unit is because I got a very nice email from Vicky, a customer support person at POWRUI who wanted to replace my unit free of charge.I apologize to the folks at POWRUI with my previous inaccurate review. Since this unit DOES work (now after a year) and because of the incredible customer service they have, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND buying a POWRUI anything!

It was a mistake on my part not to open and try this product as soon as it arrived. This powri charger indicated that it was charging my iPhone upon initial use, but after five minutes, I checked and found that it was no longer charging. This was the case on all the other USB ports. I’m past the return window with Amazon. I had bought two of these and both are defective.Update on 01/01/19After writing this review, Vicky at Powrui reached out and suggested the problem may be the lightning cable I was using. I explained that I had discarded the 2 units and was unable to retest w another cable. Nevertheless, Vicky sent one replacement unit to test and it performed perfectly. She then sent a second replacement which also worked with no issues. I won’t know if the original units were defective since I can’t retest them. However, I have only high praises for Powrui in resolving my purchase issues and guaranteeing my satisfaction.Thanks Vicky!!I

Update: Amazing customer service. Quickly got a replacement and each port in the product works. Very satisfied.None of the USB ports work. Tried different cords that work when plugged in elsewhere. Tried the cord with a usb connector plugged into an outlet on this product, and it did work there. Not sure why none of the USB ports worked. Will be returning the product. Very disappointing.

We’ve had a hard time trying to find a multi wall outlet adapter with a good surge protector. This one is perfect for our needs and thus, we put in another order. The only issue that may discourage you would be the # USB, 4, and regular outlets (3), but for us, where we use them, it’s perfect. There is a screw in thee center and to be honest this is the first adapter that held tight to the wall with no movement

Loved this more than I thought I would. So many things need a USB plug in. Phones, tablets & laptops of course, everyone knows these users. But if you have children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friend's kids, neighborhood kids or just a kid in you, you suddenly find an excessive use for outlets with many USB receptacles. There are drones, mini electronics, toy cars, toy cash registers, a million & one, little gizmos & gadgets that recharge by USB outlet. This sits pretty flat against the wall so is not an eyesore or protruding device that gets in the way. It is easily used even in a bathroom with limited space & outlets. When you don't want to block counter or wallspace, this device works well.and has multi USB outlets so several toys & devices can be charging at once. It is an inexpensive, easy to install, sturdy & stable device for use around children & adults. With the simple center screw to anchor it firmly it keeps kids from pulling it out & carting it off. Yet it remains very portable if you have a need for moving it. I have found this to be quite useful & reliable. I don't want the grandkids moving an outlet expander around to suit themselves. They think under the bed, behind a piece of heavy furniture (where their little hands reach easily but my stiff, sore, bigger hands cannot go at all is no problem.) And they always mean to put things back where they come from but their attention span seldom matches their intentions. So the screw which discourages this is VERY helpful feature. I mean, even my grandkids know where I keep my screwdrivers but somehow they don't want to mess with unscrewing & screwing. This serves me well. I want to know where my outlets are not do "search & seizure" missions evertime I need to plug something into USB or regular voltage. I love this!

I've been using this for over a year. It's in my livingroom and keeps all of my stuff charged (works fast)- phone chargers, tablets, computer, and odds and ends as needed! A definite buy if you don't own one.

This is a very good product. It attaches easily and securely. You can even leave your original wall plate on over the receptacle and just remove the screw to then use the screw to hold the Multi Wall Outlet Adapter into the outlet. It's really that simple! I am deducting one star solely for the (for our use) blue LED used to indicate the USB are on and protected. It is simply too bright for our bedroom, projecting more light than I would like, and since we have two of these in the bedroom (who would have thought that anyone would need so many USB charge ports in a BEDROOM!) the bedroom is lit as if we had a night light installed. I have had to put a bit of vinyl tape over the light. I used white vinyl so I can still see the light, but significantly reduces the brightness.

Convenient to use and provides multiple options for plugging and charging any device. Please note you will need to screw the device in so it stays in the wall. It’s is easy to do and fits to the existing outlet in the walk.
