Farberware Classic Stainless Series 2-Quart Covered Double Boiler

I've had my Faberware pots for many many years and they are still terrific. I intend to expand my own stock soon, as whilst they are expensive, they last and last and are worth the investment. The quality and durability of this line of cookware is extremely high.

This is a valuable addition to my stainless steel pan set. Love this brand and all pans have lasted for years and still look new.

just the double boiler i was looking for making my skin care products & even chocolate ganache.

I have my Grandmother's double boiler -- this double boiler -- and it's as good as new. Great for melting chocolate (brownies), cheese sauce, etc., -- anything that might otherwise burn on the stove. Works like a charm -- gets rid of a lot of stress. I also use the pan (off stove) for mixing the brownie batter. I got a new one for my daughter because she didn't want to wait forever to get her great-grandma's.

Excellent product! Perfect for puddings and sauces. Holds every size of recipe I've tried so far. The seal is great, so very little if any heat/pressure is lost. It is mid-grade meaning better than the rather flimsy poor fitting pot I first bought elsewhere but not as heavy as my everyday pots and pans but is more than adequate for its purpose. Very, very happy with my purchase!
