Fantastic camera, as well a a conversation starter!
Have had this camera a few weeks now, and I am really enjoying using it. I've always been interested in photography, but am no way an expert, but have found the X-A5 to be a solid entry point to develop my skills. I have a long way to go to start using all the features, but have taken some great shots, and with the flip screen, it's a perfect portable photobooth! I had strangers come up to me at a wedding asking me about the camera as they saw our group taking shots with the self-timer and screen flipped over and were thinking of getting it as well!.Battery life is really good - haven't had to charge it during any day or evening I've used it. Starts really quickly and is quite responsive. Strap is a little slim, but that's a minor issue.Overall, there is so much to learn, but almost anybody can pick it up and take some really nice photos without much fuss. Looking forward to using it more often - I'm taking the camera with me almost everywhere I go.

Best camera! enjoy taking pictures again!
‘So much better than my iPhone and I’m loving taking pictures again!’ I’ve been using my iPhone for taking pictures pretty much everywhere I go, but so many times I wanted to take better pictures. I’ve been looking at different cameras and decided on the X-A5 because it was packed with features, had a cool looking selfie screen and it had the Bluetooth feature which lets me transfer pictures really easily to my phone. I have to say I’m not disappointed at all. The X-A5 takes brilliant pictures and I’ve been sharing them with my friends & family too. It’s very well built and it’s small and compact compared to most cameras out there. I’m already taking more photos because I know I’m going to get better results. Highly recommend it! Love it!

Great value lightweight camera
I bought this as a lightweight alternative to lugging a DSLR around on my holidays. I got it for a great price and I found it to be very convenient to use. If you take off the lens it's even more compact. Unlike a compact camera this has a decent-sized APS-C format sensor and it handles low light very well. The automatic white balance works very well. For my birthday my partner arranged a major event attended by our friends, including a choir singing. Afterwards the choir invited me onto the stage for a photo. The choirmaster took a photo with her phone and I asked her to take another one with this camera. She posted her photo and I posted mine and they couldn't have been more different. Neither of had thought to set their camera for incandescent white balance from the stage lights. Her photo came out with a horrible orange cast and the auto ISO on this camera handled it perfectly. It takes great photos. The only gripe I have is with respect to video. It's axiomatic that in-camera microphones are terrible and that you always have to plug in an external mike. The standard jack is 3.5 mm but this camera has a non-standard 2.5 mm jack unusable with any of my existing mikes. Fuji do a mike with a 2.5 mm plug but I refuse to spend £75 on it for no reason. Hence 4 stars not 5.

It is really good camera.
I suggest this camera for someone who doesn't have photography skill like me. It is a really good product comparison with its price. I like this because it is autofocus, adjust light (in case you are taking at night, and making your face smooth (for the person who likes selfie). In addition, it has the clever mode to edit your pictures which makes them look more perfect!!

Great entry point for non-professional photographers
I have had a love for photography (non-pro) my entire life and I have always bought the latest cameras, but since the smartphone cameras started getting so much better, I haven't found myself with a reason to buy a new camera.Until now.I saw this and before even looking at the specification, I fell in love with just its looks. The X-A5 has been a pleasure to use, I haven't even tried all the options and colour modes yet, but from using it on a two week holiday, I have had plenty of usage from it, the battery last longer than a day, I never found it running low or even had it go flat, of course being on holiday I would just plug it in every night as I would my ipads, phones etc, but it would last the entire day, I take hundreds of photos daily when on holiday. The selfie mode is a real talking point, I had many people on holiday ask me about this and were interested in it and the touch screen feature is a really nice touch too, making things easier and the tap to shoot feature is great too. This has a clever WiFi system built in, when correctly paired up and setup with my iPhone, every time I took photos and switch the camera off, it would pop up on my phone if I would like to copy the photos to my library, so this means the photos are already copied onto my phone, ready to share on social media, email to family etc - saved me the time and old process of copying them to laptop, etc. FANTASTIC FEATURE.It comes with a handy strap - but the screen is quite big and although that's great, you may scratch it if you are not careful - so I suggest a case (i got a basic one) or even a screen protector clear sticker - I recommend these on most touch screen devices, it just saves the original screen from surface scratches. The size is perfect for a holiday maker to carry around and it switches on instantly and ready to shoot - a feature I love.I enclose some photos I took with this camera, I have thousands already, but picked a few from my summer holiday to Dubai.

Great lens, camera is also good to use
Brought for the lens as needed a zoom, however camera is good to use with flip up screen and easy to use inbuilt filters, reminds me of using an old twin lens camera, Yet to use all the features but so far very happy and it also has a built in flash which my other fuji does not have so an added feature.

Love this camera...
Love this camera. Great photos and easy to use. There's a mobile app that's useful too. The tilting screen is quality and is also touch screen - great for selfies. Wifi and Bluetooth good too, and the option to send photos to your phone is something I've never had in a camera before. Plenty of image menus which lets you play about with photos you have taken. All in all I'm very happy and recommend it to beginners but I guess with so many options and menus will satisfy more accomplished photographers.

La consiglio a tutti glie entry level, come me.
