Works great on luxury bags. Cleaned several of my bags and they look great.

Collonil is a very reputable company for leather care products, I would recommend them in general to anyone who wants to take care of leather items, especially designer handbags. This conditioner is great for my leather bags when the surface looks dry, so the leather can drink it in and look new again. You would need a different product if you had any stains you wanted to clean off first. It does not include a microfiber glove, as mentioned in the description. The bottle is really small for the price so that's the only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars.

I used this after washing a vintage leather Coach bag in soap and water. This conditioned and nourished the leather so it is supple again.

The bottle was open when I opened the package. Could smell the product and sad that it wasn't sealed tight

I used this leather conditioner on an old leather coat and found it to be great at moisturizing the material and restoring it to its former vibrancy. I had hoped that it would be a little bit more moisturizing but I will likely do a second coat here soon to improve upon the initial restoration. I have also applied the leather conditioner to a pair of leather boots which will hopefully prevent them from cracking while they are in storage for the season.

I enjoy saving leather items that have been neglected. It's a real kick for me to snag at thrift a beautiful purse, shoes or jacket, clean it, condition it and then hold a beautiful leather item again. So I was very pleased to get this little bottle to see what it could do.I had a vintage Coach backpack that was in fairly good shape, but needed basic cleaning & conditioning. I gave this little bottle a good shake and started with the purse bottom, as I figured, if it was a disaster, I can start over with my usual products again and the bottom? Not too much of a problem. It already had two stains, which was the worst issue that the bag had to tackle.There's a drawing on the bottle of a hand with a small dollop of the product on the tip of a finger. This is very much intended to be a guide! LOL The bottle size is not a joke. You really don't need a ton of this product. I used probably about 1/3 too much on the purse bottom. Not a problem, but you learn. It smells great and the bottom of that purse looked wonderful - sadly, still had those years old stains, but the leather looked moisturized and smooth, with a light gloss. I continued with a few more areas, to see and compare. So happy with this product! The leather looked great and I figured out how much to use, which is NOT a lot, to get a beautifully cleaned, moisturized leather item.So, is this an inexpensive product? Well, that depends. Are you spending good money on your beautiful leather bags and jackets? I know I do or, I buy them and really work hard to clean and care for them! This is an impressive product. I've spent hefty amounts for other leather care balms (Saphir Crème Universelle & Dr. Martens) and often you do get what you pay for with these products. This one is great. I plan to add Collonil to my line up of fine leather care products, and absolutely encourage you to, also. :)

I’ve applied the leather conditioning using my fingers on a leather wallet and worked well.I don’t think you need a special microfiber glove, even an old T-shirt scrap can be used to polish but won’t be very necessary since the product gets absorbed really fast.Won’t be oily or sticky.Wish the bottle was bigger .. very very tiny. More like a travel size bottle.

I used to clean my leather wallet and other leather goods by using olive oil and avocado oil. While these oils did hydrate the leather, they could be messy. It leaves my leather goods shiny and enhances the patina, making the color more vibrant and restoring them to almost brand-new condition. Using this conditioner makes post-cleanup easier, and provides the same result as using cooking oil without the mess.If you're like me and still using cooking oil to condition old leather, I highly recommend trying this product. It's a great alternative and produces excellent results.
