Putty Colour-Correcting Eye Brightener, Under-eye Brightener & Primer For Reducing Appearance Of Dark Circles, Vegan & Cruelty-free, Fair

I am 43 year old Mum of 3 who doesn't know a lot about make up and applying it. As I am getting older and with this cold weather we are having, I wanted to find something that could perk up the eye area and help cover the dark circles and some uneven skin and age spots. I was looking for something that I could apply as a base for concealer but also that could be used to brighten up my eyes if not wearing any make up. I like the texture of this product and how it moisturises the skin around the eyes. It cover the dark circles and I would say it doesn't get stuck in my fine lines and wrinkles. It is easy to apply and looks good by the end of the day. I feel it blends well and is effective.

Recently, I started to notice bags under my eyes and it really affected my self-esteem, so I decided to look for a product that could help mask my dark circles. I did thorough research because I didn’t want to buy something I wouldn’t end up using. I don’t usually have many skin issues, so I prefer my makeup to look as light and natural as possible. Today I tried this product for the first time and my under-eye bags are almost completely covered! I don’t normally use concealer, so obviously the coverage without it won’t be full, but overall I am extremely happy with the result. I was considering more expensive brands, but I’m really glad I chose e.l.f. – one very happy customer! Money saved and self-esteem boosted! If you have very dark circles or prefer full coverage, you may still want to use a concealer, as recommended by the brand. Definitely will try different products from this brand!

This stuff is fantastic!!! I have always struggled with dark under eyes. Have tried lots of different colour correctors previously, but they end up leaving my eyes cakey and dry, emphasising the area. This stuff is magic, it smoothes on effortlessly and feels more like a moisturiser. It covers the dark circles near enough fully without concealer. Would definitely recommend.

Only giving this 4 stars but that might change as I become more adept at applying. Quite a small pot however you don’t need a lot of product to achieve its purpose. It’s quite greasy - it doesn’t absolve into your skin but rather it sits on the surface. However, it definitely does what it purports to do - it colour corrects. I was a little bit worried it would interfere with my mascara’s ability to adhere to my bottom lashes but it was fine. Definitely a ‘keeoer’, I just need to work on my application skills.

Bought this by mistake but it's nice. Don't know how well it works to be totally honesty but I do use it still. Probably wouldn't repurchase it if I am totally honest

It didn’t cover also I see the eyeballs are more visible after I applied. I’ve used a cheaper version which was doing an amazing job

Tengo ojeras marcadas, profundas y la zona tiende a resecarse. Este producto lo utlizo con otros 2 de Erborian y he logrado manejar las ojeras a la perfección. Su textura es fácil de manejar y hay que utlizar muy poco producto en la zona especifica a tratar. Realmente lo recomiendo

It has the perfect texture and easy to blend in. Gives a natural finish too. It's a must have in your make-up bag. I use it every day and would definitely recommend it.

This product does a really good job at brightening under the eyes. The peach shade is ideal for correcting purple under eye circles, while still being semi translucent. My skin is pretty fair (N2 — cooler than warm, but neutral) and this shade blends in very well without looking like obvious makeup. Usually, I would wear an under eye concealer and full face of foundation, and using one without the other would be very noticeable. This summer I am now trying out a “tinted SPF cream” with just using this putty colour correcting eye brightener and I’m surprised at how good of a job it does of looking natural but still more put together than how I look when I wake up. It’s also nice to just use my fingers when I haven’t got around to cleaning my makeup brushes. It does crease a little bit, and more if you are using multiple layers of product under the eye. Every product does this though, so I don’t see it as a flaw. It isn’t the worst offender. At first I tried layering it under my usual concealer but I noticed a lot of creasing so now I am just wearing it by itself and it looks just as good as full on concealer, if not better. The ELF line of primers/putty is really good value and it is a silicone based product so it works with my water/silicone products (but avoid oil-based products to reduce pilling.) I also used ELF primer and elf setting must (water based) and have been happy with the results of my “lightweight” face, as opposed to my usual “full face” of makeup.
