I have an OnQ system in my house which has Internet jacks. I had to buy a 16 port Ethernet switch for the wiring cabinet to connect some rooms that the builder of the house did not connect. I purchased these cables as I only have 3 foot or longer cables, which are a mess to run in the small wiring cabinet in a closet. These 1 foot cables are just long enough to connect the switch to the drops running to the rooms without filling up the cabinet with wire.

I used these cables in my switch cabinet and they were the perfect length to keep the cable clutter under control and they work at full speed.

Nice little patch cables, but of the 10 I bought, one of them had a bad pin 6.The time spent tracing down the fault was a lot more than the cost of the cable.
