The company history begins in 1976 with the company owner Wolfgang Schroeter. That year he founded a small steel processing plant in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, where he started manufacturing steel railings. At that time, no one could have the incredible success of Wolf Steel Ltd. and the later following Napoleon fireplaces and Napoleon gourmet grill models. Since the first wood stove rolled off the tape 30 years ago, Wolf Steel has been committed to producing outstanding and successful products. The original oven model was 2 doors, made from solid cast iron and was manufactured on 93 m² of manufacturing area. In 1981 the name "Napoleon" was born. Under this name, the first model of oven has also been manufactured with a single glass door made from heat resistant pycroceramic glass ceramic - at that time a novelty in this industry. This was the first amongst many important milestones for Wolf Steel: over the next few years, the demand for Napoleon wood stoves has continually grown beyond the borders of Ontario and Canada, and slowly expanded to the USA. Napoleon works together with its customers to design and implement new features and features demanded by discerning consumers all over the world. Napoleon continues to play a pioneering role in developing new and innovative patented technologies: luxurious gourmet gas grills, exclusive infrared grill experience and some of the most advanced technologies in North America. Innovative technical performance and design, advanced manufacturing processes, dedicated customer service, excellent product quality and superior warranty performances distinguish Napoleon from its competitors. Napoleon is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company with over 46,000 square meters of manufacturing space and over 400 employees.
