Beautiful and Smooth!
Very Beautiful weight Fountain pen! I absolutely love it the nib writes so smooth! It comes with a converter as well but I put one of my diamine universal cartilages in it and it's so smooth and beautiful. This is my first pen from this brand and I am in love and plan to see what other pens they have. If your wondering should you get it I gave you your answer!

Great Gentlemen Pen
Monteverde created a very great hefty metal pen! If you want a real pen (and sick of all those plastic pens) - this would be it. I personally gravitates towards metal pens with some weight to it, but it`s difficult to find one with great quality and good price point, so this pen - checked all those boxes. And that carbon fiber material is really stunning. Most importantly - writing quality, it performs great! But put wet inks (like iroshizuku asa gao, Aurora black, Diamine Ink or original Monteverde Ink) - and you will love it.

An absolute stunner
WOW this pen is so gorgeous. I saw it n YouTube and had to find one. This is my 5th Monteverde pen. I love the hefty weight of this pen. Now I need to find the perfect black ink with rose gold shimmer to pair with it. Yes I am one of those who like to match the ink to my pens.

Handsome pen, kinda heavy
There's nothing wrong with this pen but it is really heavy, just not for me. It is the heaviest in my collection and I have a Sailor KOP.

Feels good in the hand, but...
UPDATE: After a couple of months of use, I've noticed a few things. First, it seems like the threads on the inside of the cap for attaching it to the pen body look like they're made out of plastic, while the ones on the pen body itself are metal. After just a couple of months of not-so-rough use, the cap won't stay on the pen any longer. Also, you can't put the cap on the other end of the pen when you're writing with it; it won't stay on. You have to set it off to the side. Not a dealbreaker, but still pretty inconvenient. On a good note, seems the JoWo #6 nibs just need some time to be broken in, as the writing has become much smoother and less scratchy the more I use it. The only problem here is that the flow is inconsistent. I use the adapter for bottled ink, and have just been using Waterman red in the pen. It's not uncommon mid-writing for me to have to unscrew the lower assembly with the nib and the adapter from the rest of the body of the pen, give the plunger a little turn to restart the ink flow, then wash, rinse, & repeat until the next time I have to crank it. Bottom line, I LOVE the feel of the pen in my hand, but the inconsistent performance issues are leading me to drop my initial 4-star review down to 2. Only reason it's not 1 is because I like the way the pen feels in my hand.First, the feel of the pen. If you want something kind of big and heavy for a pen, this might be a good fit for you. The carbon fiber is nice to look at.This is the second pen I've bought with the JoWo #6 nib and it's the second pen I've had problems with. Everything is sealed up well, but I have to give the plunger on the adapter a little twist whenever I try to use the pen, just to get the ink flowing. I'm using Waterman red from a bottle. When the ink does flow, the pen writes smoothly (until it stops flowing, anyway).
