I saw one of these lights online and immediately bought myself a cheaper version which lasted about 5 minutes before one of the battery terminals snapped, but in that five minutes I was so impressed with the concept that I decided to try and find a better example, and the reviews led me to this one. It feels fairly robust and well-made, and I love the USB rechargeable battery. Very convenient and no more snapped terminals! I've used it for reading, knitting and sewing, and it's fantastically handy anywhere that the lighting - or the poor old eyes - are not optimal, which can be especially useful if you are away from home or travelling. It's also fantastically handy for peering under the sofa when my grandkids manage to lose stuff under there. I've had it about six weeks now I think, and have only had to recharge it once so far, despite a fair amount of use, so quite impressed with battery life. Just about to go and buy another as a gift for a crafting friend. Not had it long enough to comment on durability, but hope it last a long, long time.

Been used for a long while and worked really well, no problems. Great brightness control, easy to charge and hold flex shape well. Quite heavy but most likely why it seems robustly made.

I bought this for my son as he is at university and wanted a book light. I decided to buy him a clip on book light and this one that you can wear around your neck. He loves it is flexible and he can read his book in bed.

I really thought this was going to be the answer to reading in bed without a bedside lamp - I was so wrong !The really hard, big plastic neck piece means you cannot 'lie down' with this device - it jams into the neck creating an uncomfortable, prodding, big barrier between your head and the pillow. I then tried without success to 'balance' it on my chest whilst reading a book. Impossible. It doesn't stay stable and the lights waver all over the place. So disappointed.

I bought this for my husband who is really pleased with it. The lights are flexible, can be set to different strengths and pointed to wherever he wants them. Wearing them around his neck he has found them really comfortable, much better than the head light. So comfortable in fact that, after working in his shed in the evening, he often comes back into the house with them still on having forgotten they were there! Another bonus is that, unlike the head light, it enables much better peripheral vision whilst he is walking around.

This is absolutely brilliant when I have dark wool that shines nice and bright there are 2 levels of light love it thank you
