The media could not be loaded.  This cage is absolutely amazing for housing your furry friends, in my case specifically: rats! This cage provides so much space and the bar spacing is perfect for providing security and allowing my rats to explore their cage safely. It also makes arranging your cage, hanging items/beds/hides so much easier and makes whatever you fit to the bars more stable. It was fairly easy to put together by myself, and the instructions were very handy. Maybe if you struggle with pushing things into place or need to be careful about how much strength you exert, it would be a good idea to grab an extra pair of hands to help you! I can’t compliment this cage enough, the wide doors now allow me to clean with so much more ease, and the removable base allowed me to add a deeper section using a plastic base for bedding. I also love that I could stack these cages however much I wanted to (and plan to, when I get more space!). Overall, my rats are very happy with their new space, as you can see in the video!

The media could not be loaded.  This cage is great if you don't have a lot of space at home, I have a small apartment. I love this cage and wish I got my boys the best from the start. I am 5 ft 1 tall, I have posted a photo of my shoulder next to the cage so you can get an idea of how tall the cage is, it has amble floor space. It has parts on it designed for hanging toys and hammocks on it. The double criteria nation can also be split by putting the ramp up, I have had to do this for a short while as I had to isolate one rat temporarily. The critter nation is the best of the best when it comes to rat cages and it is sooo worth it. It is best to save up to get this one than buy a slightly cheaper one and have to modify it or struggle to clean it, this one is soo easy to clean and spot clean as well, it is sturdy and well put together with no sharp peices. It truly has been made with rodents in mind.

I dropped the bottom of the cage (and added a deep perspex base) and it's a nice spacious cage even just the bottom half. It feels sturdy. It's nice to know you can the top level in the future. The cage is sturdy, and since it has horizontal bars all over it makes it easy to hang lots of things. I use it for my rats and I think if the space is used wisely you can have 4-5 rats in it. The wheels also work well and it's easy to move it.The cage was easy to assemble but I did need my husband to use some force in one bit, everything else I did it myself with no issues. The instructions could be a bit more user friendly, make sure to actually read it before assembling it (I didn't and had to go back a couple of steps).

I like this cage for my rats. Took an hour or two to construct but not too hard. Only down side are the plastic trays are not great quality and don't fit too well. Had a nightmare with the delivery too - ordered full 2 part cage and it never arrived - I had rats living in carriers for a week as I'd moved house. Definitely buy both parts seperately otherwise it will need two ppl to deliver.

Nice sturdy cage which can be expanded in the future. Don’t use the trays or ramps but do use the shelves.But I do wish rat cages came with deeper bases instead of having to diy perspex one all the time.

Upped from a Furat cage. Not much bigger in the overall space it took up (including a small table I had it on), but the habitable space is larger and the size much more uniform (no tapering at the bottom).We don't use loose substrate, we use home-made cage liners (relatively easy to sew) and some rubber-backed rugs cut to size.Boys are so much happier with that little bit of extra room. I thought they were content before, but this cage they just seem much more relaxed and much less reluctant to return when playtime is over (even returning voluntarily sometimes). Huge doors and coverings for shelve allow for much easier cleaning and toy/bed organisation. The shelf has attachment points under it for hammocks too. When they get older and I need to put the cage into old-man mode I will be looking to buy an extra shelf.I love the fact that these units are also modular and can be sandwiched together in all sorts of configurations. I can add more space later if I want.Just a bit awkward to put together. Also the delivery driver hired by amazon left it out on the street.

This is literally the best rat cage money can buy. Great, sturdy quality. It also looks nice as an added bonus. It was easy to build in no time, probably about 10 minutes - it did require a little bit of rubber malleting but that's worth it for the sheer quality of this thing. Seriously, it's amazing. I love it. My rats love it. It's like a mansion for rats! It's so easy to clean, the doors are 100% perfect, you can access all corners of the cage easily. The undercage storage is great for keeping all your pet's toys, food, bedding etc. The locking wheels work well too and make cleaning behind and under the cage easy rather than a chore. All in all, if you want rats, or presumably other small pets, this is the ONLY cage you should buy!

Brilliant large cage. Quite easy to assemble. Doors look like they don't line up, but they do. We left the middle section in and plenty of ropes and hammocks for our girls to get up and down. We have a 14" Tic-Tac wheel at the bottom and fits onto the side great. Love that you can completely remove the doors for cleaning out. Had some perspex made for around the bottom try to stop substrate falling out. Top tray we use mats which we change regularly. Only downside is the trays aren't deep enough. Would be great if CN made them a few inches deep. Don't use the ladders but they come with covers. Overall, we think it's the best cage for our rattie babies.

I bought this 4 floor cage for my 3 Guinea Pigs and woah, they LOVE it. Whoever said guinea pigs can't climb? They love climbing the angular ladders in these cages (designed for critters to climb easily), and it is quite a fun activity for them to climb up and down. Also keeps them fit with the exercise.When I first kept them in, they were popcorning and having Zoomies for a long time. They absolutely loved it.The cage is spacious for my 3 pigs, and a lot can be done with the cage in terms of going creative with toys, houses, food, hay and water bowls/dispensers, games, hanging hammocks, etc. The ladders come with a soft covering which is great on my piggies' feet. Whenever I take them out, they can't wait to go back lol. The size of each level is also optimum as you can find a lot of base pads for guinea pigs made for that exact same size.In terms of assembly, it took me 2 hrs to assemble the cage, and I had one more person to help me.The assembly is great, and the cage is sturdy. It has a base level when you can also store guinea pig stuff like food, toys, houses, etc. Also comes with wheels so it is easy to maneuver while cleaning/moving. The doors lock nicely and the cage feels like it is made of good quality metal.Since I got this cage, my guinea pigs have been very happy and active.I would definitely recommend this cage for guinea pigs.

Quality is great! But my pets used to climb all over the cage during their free time. With the add-on, there is a now quite a considerable bar between floors, which makes it a bit harder for my pets to climb around.
