My current pair of earbuds (Mifo) are on their last legs. Sound quality wise they still pump, but the battery is quickly diminishing, having to charge them after every use basically. So I was on the hunt for a new set. I've had numerous pairs in the past, Sony, Jabra just to name a few. I went with the Mifo previously because reviews were good and tbh I have not been disappointed, there build is solid and sound is pretty damn great and even though the battery is dying I'm still not disappointed as they've served me well for the 3 years I've owned them. I wasn't ready to shell out a few hundred on a new set just yet as I like to do some heavy research before purchasing any kind of electronic device, so I was just after something to fill in the void. I saw the Edifier earbuds and remembered that I own a set of bookshelf speakers from them and they absolutely pump and I haven't had an issue with them for the 4-5 years I've owned them now. What the hell, the ear buds were under $30 delivered and I was purchasing them in the 'no expectations, you get what you pay for' mindset. They arrived yesterday and I'm not kidding when I say these are on par with high end brands. Pairing was seamless, sound quality is great, fit is comfortable and so far they have not fallen out. I tweak my equalizer in Spotify to my specific needs but the presets available in the Edifier App do a pretty decent job. For $30 you really are getting a lot of bang for your buck. I never review things but this is a product that I thought deserved one because if you're looking for something pretty damn decent at a great price then I highly suggest you give these a go! I think I'll keep running these until something else really tickles my fancy.
