This book is not for beginners. It is opinionated to the fact, do it the author's way or the highway. It is for a more advanced fish owner, who doesn't mind being told his way sucks. I did not like this book. If I could have read it before I bought it, I wouldn't have bought it.The word " Necessary" is used too often. It is the author's opinion; it has nothing to do with the truth. I have own Betta fish my entire life, they are one of the easiest fish to take care of. This is why they are good for children. There are much better books on the Betta, out there. Don't waste your money on this one.

Good info for beginners, but so poorly written it was painful to read. If they're looking for an editor, I'm available.

Great book I have read it 12 times and I will keep on doing till I remember it all without opening it again until I need to reference it 😀
