Easy to put together.
I used this product for hanging a wind chime. It didn't exactly fit around my fence post, so I had to rig up a different way to attach it.The metal is sturdy. It won't bend in a windstorm or if you hang something heavy on it. Great product!

perfect fit for my deck
I wanted this because it mounts on the deck upright slats rather than most that fit on the railing. Easy to install, seems durable but I've had it for only a few weeks so I can't really say. Perfect for hanging out a liquid feeder for humingbirds and orioles.

Good, functional bird feeder
I installed this on the rail to a porch. The attaching mechanism works, but has a little more movement to it than is preferrable. Still, I would recommend the product. It extends the bird feeder out from the porch, but the hook is still within reach for taking the feeder off for filling.

Hold up well in storms
Adapts to any size railing. Have this installed on metal railing going down stairs from our deck. Hold a medium size basking with minimal flex. The extension pieces allow for custom placement. Through a couple strong storm no issues.

Tricky to fill if using for feeders
I bought this to put a hummingbird feeder on and I refill them about once a week. With the adjustment knob on the outside of the deck it makes it harder to loosen to swing the pole over and then tighten back in place. The knob is going to be the downfall I think.

Very sturdy pole
The pole is very sturdy and easy to install. It extends out far enough so that I can see the feeder over the deck railing. I have two of these now. The squirrels are baffled.
