The motor died within minutes. I was using the immersion blender to make a smoothie. My first one was a gift and that died while I was grating cheese.

I live in a small apartment with very little counter space and the product works great. I don’t need to worry about having a lot of appliances. This is one of my favorite appliance and I use it on a daily basis.

I had an issue using the shredder/slicer. The manual says to use the stem, but no stem was included. It's also not included in the diagram of parts.I contacted Cuisinart. They are aware of the issue, and are sending me a stem free of charge.

I bought one of these through a retailer brand new, first time something stopped the motor it stopped working. A little extra research showed that this is a common issue.

Got it brand new out of the box. Used it a couple times and put it away for every usen (like 3 times). Then suddenly stopped working. Thankfully I was able to repair it and the fuse goes bad really easy. I put a wire instead and now it hasn't broke ever since.

You can’t even use the shredding/ slicing feature unless you BUY an additional/ separate attachment to connect it to the bowl. You can’t use the “spine” that has the blades on it, rendering this useless unless you buy a while separate piece!!!! IT SHOULD SAY THAT
