Keeps baby mice in (or out!)
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to attach to the sides of my fancy mouse tank, because I had several small house mice climb through the bars and hang out with my girls! Everyone was fine and my girls didn't seem to care in the slightest, one of them even was grooming the house mice before I could get them out. I ended up keeping a couple of them and used this hardware cloth to make sure there was no way they could climb through the bars again, and it's been very effective and looks pretty decent in my opinion! I ended up using tin snips and cutting the wires flush against eachother to avoid sharp edges, tucking the sides of the mesh under the lip of the tank where the wire slides under and I zip tied it tightly in place along all the sides. It's secure, looks to be in great condition and I still have a lot left. I appreciated how the bundle was wrapped together when I first unpackaged it but unfortunately I got the stick out of the middle and immediately lost the nice tightly rolled bundle and ended up having to roll it together by hand when I was done with it, but that was my mistake. This was one of the most reasonably priced hardware cloth rolls I could find with good reviews and I'm glad I picked it!

Works perfect for my small buildings.
I build mini buildings. I needed an equivalent of rebar mesh for the foundation of a building. This was just the thing I needed. It’s easy to cut. Easy to bend. It doesn’t cause any injuries. Very satisfied.

Heavy duty
Used on ground with small stakes to deter cat from using my flower bed as a litter box. Also used and wrapped around end of gutter to prevent rodents from crawling up gutters. Very sharp but works great.

Exactly what I needed
Between the edible HOA landscaping plants to the right of me and the messy neighbors to the left, my back patio was a popular hangout spot for the neighborhood rats. I called vector control and they had never seen anything like it. There were no nests, no entry points to the house or attic, not food or furniture, nothing at all that would be attractive to a rodent. Just piles of droppings out in the open. It was like they were using my fenced in patio as a foodcourt.I plan on renting this out someday and that is just disgusting. They suggested I buy steel mesh and run it under the fence since their best guess was that the rats were passing through. I worried that that would create a rusty, warped mess so I looked for something stiff and galvanized. This was perfect. It is very stiff, you have to fold it to get it into the corners. I didn't even have to staple or nail it to the fence. I simply threaded it behind the posts and fastened it into the ground with landscaping stakes. I have no fear they will be able to push past it. Especially not with that serrated edge! Best of all, it is barely noticeable. I had my family over and not once did they stop and stare at my latest DYI. I didn't mention it and I doubt they noticed. One thing I should mention is that if you are working with long lengths of this like I did, wear gloves! This stuff is so stiff and sharp I bet it could easily be used as a surgical saw. I didn't hurt myself but I can easily see how I could have. Don't be a hero! It's been a few weeks and not a dropping in sight. I honestly didn't believe this would fix 100% of the problem but it appears it did.
