Pairing this remote is key to happiness!
At first, I was not impressed. I have a sound bar in front of the TV IR sensor and I had to lift my arm high to do anything with the remote to make the TV respond. That got old quick. I started looking for another remote and found out that this remote gets paired with your TV and the IR feature works perfect. Now I just press any button in any direction I choose and the TV responds perfectly….just like the original. To pair the TV, press the back button and the play button at the same time for 3 seconds until the light on the remote flashes quickly and you are paired quickly. DONE!

Worked perfect for 65inch UN65RU9000FXZA
This remote works perfect for my 65 inch UN65RU9000FXZA. The Bluetooth paired easily by holding down the 'back' and 'play' buttons. Regular IR, where you have to point the remote at the TV, worked automatically without pairing. Quality seems similar to the factory remote.
