HeadBlade MOTO S4 GreeneBlade Men's Head and Skull Shaving Razor - Revolutionary Dual Active Suspension

So, let me start out by saying I don't normally do reviews, but this thing absolutely deserves it. I just started shaving my head about 6 months ago so I am by no means a pro, I've been using the Defender razer forever now and I figured it'd work for my head, and it does. But after a coworker told me that all of his friends who shave their heads use the headblade, I decided to look into it. Most reviews are positive, it's won some awards, the only thing that really put me off was the fully plastic design. So when the S4 Goldfinger came out, I decided to spring for it.5After it arrived, a hot shower, lathering of headslick (went all in for the full experience), and went to town. I have to say...That was the fastest, cleanest, and closest head shaving I've ever done. No cuts, smooth as the day I was born, all in just a few minutes. It's a little tricky to get around the ears but it wasn't too bad, and with a little touchup from a traditional razer I was good to go. I'm sure after a bit more use it'll come naturally, but I have to say I'm very, very impressed. It is a little pricy for the goldfinger, I'm sure I could have done the job with a standard Moto, but I quite like the heft and it feels very study. People have said you need to apply a little more pressure to get the suspension to flatten against your head, but I found that with the full metal one it wasn't an issue. All in all, this is now my new go-to razer.

I would really like to say it's great, but it's not a great shave for me.It is way over priced and I'd recommend the plastic version over the steel unless you just want to collect it, since this razor doesn't work any better than the plastic version. With the limited run of 3,000 they might be worth it for collecting.These razors might work better on guys with smooth round shaped heads without any unusual hair directions of hair growth. But I have an oval shaped head, fairly flat on the sides and with my hair not angled straight away from the crown of my head. So to shave my head smooth I have go back over it from different angles to get the shave fairly close.The 6 bladed razor blade cartridge works better than the 4 bade version and is more comfortable on my head too. But they don't seem as good of a design and don't work as well as other more well know razors.I wanted to love this razor, especially at this high cost, but I think it needs a better blade design to make it work better.I hope this info helps.Update: I've changed my mind on how well the razor works. With a change in technique on how I do the sides of my head and with more pressure supplied to the normal use, the razor is doing much better now. Since it doesn't have the normal razor handle it doesn't get the leverage pressure you'd normally get. So with a heavier hand the razor shaves much better with alot less strokes.I still believe the plastic version works the same without the high cost. But the stainless steel one should last forever and maybe that helps make it worth it.I hope this helps.

Great product just a small issue

Changed my head shaving! Takes a little getting used too, maybe a week or two... I use every two days, do not cut my head nearly as much as I used too!Love it!

Shave is comfortable. I really enjoy using the shaver for a close and comfortable shave.

I like the way it glides on my skull.. I got mine for a good price.

Had one of these some time ago and I will never know why I went away from this produce. I tried many ways , electric (not really a close shave) spent a fortune, 3 bales 4 blades stranded razors (lots of cuts). Realized this the Headblade is the best and so so easy to use.

Excellent shave, 6 blades do not get clogged.Previously I had a HeadBlade ATX and S4 Moto is definitely an improvement.Pivoted razor nicely conforms to the shape of the head, no nicks or cuts.

very good shaver, find the blade a bit difficult to attach.
