I always enjoy thrillers - and it gets my heart racing to be set in an isolated location and have something with the unknown. These writers have given us a good ride, sure to make your heart race. Get to know some of them!

This is a great collection of stories. I read up on the authors and what an amazing group of women. I can recommend all of the stories. I really got into ‘Hidden Waters’.

An island surrounded by snakes. An abandoned lodge. An arroyo in the desert. These stories range from spooky to terrifying, all set in richly-described and genuinely isolated places.

I grew up on Murder She Wrote. I’ve never thought that women could NOT write mysteries or thrillers but I love this book for more reasons than the female author thing.I’m in the middle of a couple of book club books and these short stories are intriguing, fun, and can be read in short breaks. It’s kind of the same as how we used to be able to watch shows like Law & Order without having to see every episode. Read it at your leisure! Skip around! Highly recommend.

All well written and fun! My personal favorite is Dita Dow's "The Unholy Script." Anything based in history and archeology is right up my ally and this one doesn't disappoint!

I purchased this book directly from the publisher. The HERS featured in these thriller stories find new depths of strength, resourcefulness, and courage when they find themselves in locations that may not be the happy-to-get-away-from-it-all isolated locations one would choose. Each story is unique and fun and filled with thrills. This anthology is a great introduction to a group of great authors.

This was my first time reading an anthology. I enjoyed reading all the different thriller stories. Each one was so unique.
