Maidenform Women's Comfort Devotion Extra Coverage Wire-Free Bra

This bra has a beautiful shape and is mostly very comfortable. After 9-10 hours of wear, it does sometimes annoy me a little. The cups fit wonderfully and the band is firm and stays put well. I buy a 34D in Maidenform bras because they don't make a 32DD in most styles. Depending on the coverage of the cup, they either fit just right on the last hook or are too small in the cup.This one is in the "fits just right" category. The shape is very natural and soft. The bra holds this shape well and looks good under sweaters and t-shirts. The part of the strap under the arm does come up a bit high, as does the cup, but you couldn't get a soft-cup bra to give this kind of nice shaping without the extra material. The plastic rods in the underarm part of the band do occasionally get irritating, but they're more comfortable than most under wire bras. The bra is also pretty - not super duper sexy, but feminine and pretty, which is nice.I've read other reviews where women had much more discomfort from the plastic rods in the band. I can see this being a problem if the bra fits you in a way that causes skin to "roll" above or underneath the band. This skin would basically sit on top of the rod or under it, and bending would probably exacerbate the discomfort.

As other reviewers wrote, there is a wire actually it is a plastic something in the underarm area of the bra. I also found it dug into me and felt awful. I took out my scissors and cut that plastic part out. It feels so much better now. I have no problems with the straps, just that plastic thingie, and I took care of that. I am now happy with the bra. Wish they would have a bra with no non-sense in it. I like Maidenform, and I think this bra was a fluke.Well, I just bought 3 more. Of all the bras I have tried, these are the most comfortable. I again cut out the plastic things. I don't know if this will help anyone else, but it helps me.

My first wire-free bra and I must say I should have done this years ago! I exclusively wear Maidenform Comfort Devotion Extra Coverage already so finding it in wire free was a perfect match. I feel even more supported than in the regular Comfort Devotion and my back feels straightened out more on top of that. I am measured as a 38D and wear it in the typical CD and the same in this. There is definitely no uni-boob issue. As some of the other ladies have said, at first there can be a little prodding from the side thick strips of wire toward the back, but it goes away with a little but of wear. I will be buying one in every color. They make me feel that good!

This bra has some really great points. For one, the coverage is great. I don't fall out of this bra no matter how much I move around, and it gives me a nice, smoothe shape under my clothes. The materials are soft and comfortable. Even the straps surprised me. they are about a quarter of an inch wide, which usually is just narrow enough to irritate my shoulders. But these don't dig in. The support is great, and I don't spend all day adjusting this bra. While it is not an underwire bra, there is rigid boning in the sides for extra support, which might put off someone who wants no trace of supportive hardware in her bra.So why the three-star rating?For one, the band of this bra seems to run a bit big. I'm a thirty-four and to get the proper fit, I had to use the last set of hooks and eyes, which doesn't leave much room for the bra to go through regular wear and tear before it has to be replaced. But even more concerning, at least for me and for anyone else hoping for modesty, the padding of this bra is so soft that, believe me, the world will know how cold you are! This is a big no-no when you work in an office or with kids. I had to get concealers for under this bra to minimize this, especially under thinner fabrics. So if you expect good concealment, unless you're willing to spend extra money or tuck something into this bra, it's probably not for you.

Finding a good wire free bra that offers support is a huge challenge as you know. This is mostly comfortable and supportive, but I do have to be careful so there is no spillage. The other problem that while there is no under wire there IS wire on either side of the cups under the armpits and it digs into my skin. If not for these two issues it would be perfect. It is a little deceiving to call this a wire free bra but have wire on the sides, while it does lend to support it detracts from the comfort. It is better than other wire free bras I have found as it is not like a sports bra, it has shape like regular bras.

Most comfortable and versatile bra I've ever worn, and it's really hard to find my size (40B). All the form and support of a wire bra without the wire, at least for my smaller breasts. I loved it so much that this time around I just skipped the dreaded bra shopping trip and bought a few more of these (black and nude colors) here for half the cost.Breathable enough for fall through spring, but not ideal for summer; I use non-padded bras and bralettes during the hot & humid months.

Comfortable, except for the boning on the side...but [the boning] did keep the straps from digging into shoulders. Lots of coverage and the fit was true to size. The "thread" used to sew the back band is made of polyester and was "itchy", but became somewhat better after repeated washing. I am going to try and take out the boning, and suffer with a small "itch" in the back, since it really is comfortable, supportive and has good coverage.

First bra I've gotten that is comfortable for all day and fits perfect! I have Fibromyalgia and soft comfort and great support is a MUST and very hard to find! My skin is very sensitive to touch and anything too constrictive is VERY painful. I've tried many bras through the years, but this one helps me wear it all day without screaming! Thank you for a great bra! I love pretty undergarments, so just wish you had more colors to choose from in the same bra and a touch of lacy detail and embellishment! Thanks!!

I actually tried this bra on at a department store and it seemed really comfy but then decided I couldn't afford the £36 price tag. So I was chuffed to find my size at a much cheaper price online. So much so that I ended up purchasing two! When they arrived I was a bit disappointed as the colour is actually quite a bit darker than in the picture which makes it look a creamy colour whereas it's actually more nudey beige. However, I've since worn one of the bras and it is very comfortable. They are soft and beautifully made. While not the sexiest of underwear perhaps, these seem the perfect bra for everyday wear, giving a good silhouette and shape in tee shirts and feeling silky soft next to the skin without the digging-in of some underwired bras. I'm now on the lookout for a couple of black ones which seem harder to find online!

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem BH, den ich erstmalig gekauft habe.Die Bügel an den Seiten sind zwar anfänglich etwas unangenehm, aber das hat sich jetzt nach mehrmaligen Tragen gelegt.Der BH passt wirklich sehr gut - hoher Tragekomfort. Er zeichnet sich nicht unter (auch eng anliegender) Kleidung ab. Ich bin rundherum zufrieden und kann ihn deshalb auch nur empfehlen.Einziger Kritikpunkt sind vielleicht (wenn man sehr empfindlich ist) die Seitenstäbe, die den Tragekomfort u. U. etwas einschränken können.

Sehr angenehmer Stoff, schönes Hautgefühl. Allerdings hatte ich mir den BH bestellt, da ich auf der Suche nach einem BH mit Passform, aber ohne Bügel war. Die Passform ist soweit ganz gut, allerdings wird diese durch Kunststoffstäbchen in den Seiten erreicht. Die Stäbchen verbiegen sich mit der Zeit durch die Körperwärme und scheuern dann ziemlich - zumindest bei mir. Ständig biege ich mir die wieder zurecht, was aber immer nur kurz hilft. Also kann ich auch wieder auf Bügel-BHs umsteigen und mit dem Druck der Bügel leben.
