Ever since we received our order, my kids use the net system daily! The build: The construction quality of the materials used to build this system are high quality and seem very durable for outdoor use. The base is made of steel and is powder coated to stand weather elements. The straps keep the net in place, nice and tight providing a great simulation of the real thing! There is a nice net and collection basket with a ball return tube helping contain the volleyballs and then shagging for extended practice time. There is an included high quality carrying case with wheels to help store the net when not in use or to use it for travel, if needed. The base and net are solid and heavy enough to prevent movement in windy conditions and also strong enough to absorb the weight of the ball from serving and spiking. The setup: There is a manual included but also a nice QR code to a setup video on YouTube to help visualize the step-by-step setup instructions. Once given that reference, setup was pretty intuitive. Overall setup time for me was approximately 10-15 mins once I watched the video. Note: Although the description indicated there are 3 possible net heights options. The first two of the lower settings are great for youth and lower teen play, but the tallest setting seemed a bit shy of 8ft, however simple spacers or adjusting the net to not sit on the pins helped make up the difference. Customer Service: I reached out to customer service regarding a promotion and inquiry for replacement parts, if it was needed down the future. Within a day, and a couple of back and forth replies, I received a direct response indicating promotion fulfillment and their willingness to support the product in a quick and timely manner and their candid response of “Just drop us a quick email and we'll sort you out with a replacement.” I am truly impressed and appreciate supporting their small family-owned business and very solid product! Overall, this is a great high quality product who wants to get reps in to build up skills in their volleyball serves, spiking, and setting on your own or with a helper. The immediate support response and their willingness to support the customer assured this was the right company and product that will bring joy to your future volleyball player happy for years to come.

This is perfect and simulates real action! Easy setup in 10 minutes out of the box. Durable and fun!

Good product. First time assembly takes a while as the instructions are unclear (~20 mins). As mentioned, the instructions are unclear, so the variable net height wasn't used on either of my times using it. 2nd setup took about half the time as the first. In windy conditions the catcher bottom will sort of act as a kite and blow whole setup around, so having a few 5-pound weights handy might be necessary for windy days.

I couldn’t be happier with the Apex Sports Volleyball Training Net Equipment System. My daughter started playing volleyball about a year ago and wanted to improve her striking and serving. Since setting up this net in September, she’s been absolutely obsessed with it. Weather permitting, she comes home from school, finishes her homework, and then spends at least an hour practicing. She often invites teammates and friends over to play, making it even more enjoyable. The results have been incredible. When she first started, she struggled to make solid contact with the ball and couldn’t serve it over the net. Now, she consistently lands her serves and has gained tremendous confidence in her skills. I will say the initial setup was a bit challenging, but once I figured it out, it became much easier. Now, I can take it down and set it back up in about 15 minutes by myself without any trouble. It just takes a little practice. After months of use, I encountered a minor issue and reached out to Apex Sports. Their customer service was outstanding—they immediately sent me a replacement part without any hassle, and we were back up and running within a week. We absolutely love this product and the company behind it. Amazing product and customer service. Really sturdy product, great frame, but it definitely needs 2 people to set up as I am very short. My daughter loves this thing. She practices for hours with it and because of the net design she comes up with creative ways to pass to herself to be challenged. It’s really hard to walk past it and not hit a ball. Aside from the great product Apex has amazing customer support. Customer service rep Jeff was the epitome of putting the customer first. One of the straps’ stitching came loose and the back net wasn’t tensioned anymore. I reached out by email and he apologized and immediately sent a replacement net. Really pleasant guy who seems to care about what he does. Will definitely use them again and am checking their site for soccer products for my son.

We have had this volleyball net for almost 2 years now and it is still holding up even with all the heat and sun in Arizona . Our daughter has been using and loves to get extra reps in. Customer service is great as they replaced the net which broke shortly after a couple uses. We haven’t had an issue since the replacement. I highly recommend for anyone who is starting out playing volleyball and wants to get better or practice at home.

We have so far been very pleased with this volleyball trainer. My teenage daughter was looking for a way to begin building her budding volleyball skills and after some research we discovery this APEX volleyball trainer. When we first looked at the size of the box and realized how big the finished product was going to be I have to admit it seemed a bit daunting. While the printed instructions were not very useful there is a QR code linking to a setup video that gave us all the information we needed. Setup was actually quite easy once we got the parts laid out correctly. I will say you need to be cautious as you are putting the bendable poles into the solid yellow base. It doesn't take a bit of effort and if you let it slip it could snap back at you. But that is a necessary part of this design so it's on you to be mindful and make sure no body parts, yours or anyones, are in the path. Again, this looks to be a solid built, well designed and useful tool for any level of volleyball player to learn or hone some skills.
