Haven't used it yet, but that's not why I bought it. This is a nostalgia product for me because I wanted one like this when they came out when I was younger. My Mom told me we couldn't afford it. Very happy with it.

A very shiny basic black corded phone.Can be wall mounted but the fixings are not enclosed. Mine is just sitting on the kitchen worktop.It doesn’t have number storage, or caller display. None of the fancy stuff just a basic phone which does the job at a great price.It does indeed have a light which flashes red when it rings and the keypad lights up with a green light.It has two levels of ringer volume so it can be switched to a louder ring if needed, perhaps if it is plugged into a room you don’t always spend a lot of time in, or you have a large house!There are two different cords included to attach the handset to the base so you can select your preference between a curly or straight cord.Just plug it in the the wall and it is ready to use. No need for an electric socket as it is not a cordless phone.

Loud and large numbers which is what we needed.

Arrived in time and package was intact. The equipment inside of the base of the phone was not secured and was sliding freely and bumping inside the case. When plugged in it had a dial tone and was able to place a call. However, when trying to receive a call the phone rang once and went dead. Have had to use an old phone until now. It is just a useless piece of cheap plastic.After this review was written the seller quickly contacted me regarding the problem. A replacement phone was offered, which I accepted, and the item arrived within a few days. The new phone was connected and after a few days' trial has proven to work well. I liked that two slider buttons set the ringer volume and speech volume, allowing me to set it to my preferences. Set up was easy and I am now happy with the purchase and the rapid response of the seller's customer service. Based on this, I am changing my rating to five stars.

Love the light and the ringer volume is good. She still had a little hearing difficulty but at least she sees the phone call coming in now.

No battery required if connected to a true landline service provider. This is what I wanted. Arrived on time. I ordered landline installation and connected it my landline today. I do not have to carry it around in my pocket, purse nor hip. I connected to my old answering machine and it works both ways! If the cell towers go down again, (and they will) because the systems are vulnerable. Whether that happens again or not I still have a working landline phone.

This phone works fine, but the base has no weight to it…this means that the base won’t stay put but rather rather swings around with the handset…probably need to attach it to something.
