Great food dispenser for our pets
This is our second dispenser from HoneyGuaridian and our cats love it! It allows you to program up to 6 meals a day, dispensing various amount of food as needed - you can set it up exactly as you wish.We don't really use the voice recording feature of the unit, although the set up process is also fairly straight forward if required. The unit has a massive tank and can store a large amount of food, which was the main reason we got it so we know food will be available whilst we are away on short trips or long day shifts. You can power the unit via DC mains or with 4*D batteries, which can also serve as backup in case of power failure so food is always dispensed. Overall the unit is pretty good value as it makes creating a routine much easier for your fury friend! Highly recommended :)

Very Pleased
Highly recommend this project. This is the second automatic cat feeder I have had. The first one I bought (another brand) didn't work out because the slope of the dispenser opening was too shallow. With HoneyGuardian, the food drops down at a steep slope and there is plenty of gravity to ensure that the food makes it to the dish and that it doesn't get blocked. The design is excellent and the capacity is ideal for 2 cats. The app works really well - easy to use and responsive. I don't both using the buttons on the machine at all but they work fine too.To take this product to the next level I would like to see a weight sensor that integrates with the app to tell you what weight of food is available at any given time, how much was dispensed and to show changes in the weight of the food anytime the cats come to feed. This would allow you to properly monitor their consumption. Ideally the product would also have a camera so that, if you have multiple cats, you could separate the feeding data by cat and have a feeding diary for each (in the event that they are sick and the vet needs to know about their eating patterns).

The phone app removes so much stress
It took a while to set up the app that comes with the feeder as the instructions seemed to be missing some of the info about connecting it to the internet but got there in the end. I like the fact that you can check that the food has been delivered & what time & also share the app with others while you are away. Main issue was it kept delivering the food one hour before the set times despite checking the time zone was correct I managed to solve this in the end by removing London as my time zone & manually setting it to GMT +0. Only other negative would be the 2 bowls are very close together my large cats struggle to both each at the same time. I am however really pleased with the quality & the price was very reasonable. It’s so nice knowing the cats will be fed at their usual time even when we are out for the day & particularly useful if you are only away for a few days not having to find someone to come in every day twice a day to feed them.would definitely recommend this product once set up it does exactly what I wanted it to do.

Yes for 2 cats
I did not receive any incentive for this review and I actually nearly did not buy as previous reviews mentioned to be careful about 5 star reviews. Anyways, I bought it because there was nothing similar and my cats bullied me every single morning to give them food at 3am, 5am and 6am. I just wanted something that can help my cats to be in schedule and also associate food with, so that I can get my sleep, work and earn money buy the furry babies products like this. And yes it worked. What I needed:1. Can feed 2 cats2. Can adjust the amount of the food and frequency because both are fat (not my words, vet said so!)3. Would still work if the electricity is gone4. Would still work if there is no internetWhat I got:1. Beautiful plastic splitter that splits the food into 2 bowls that are not plastic but stainless steel. Sometimes one bowl gets 1-3 more biscuits so it is not highly accurate but I don't think this is a problem.2. Each time the roller rotates; an amount of dry food is dispensed. For me, 4 rotations corresponded to 20g at each bowl. It is possible to adjust the rotation from 1 to 40. And it is possible to schedule it at 8 different times. Roller is nice and wide and I cannot see it clogging.3. Feeder has 4 large batteries that I purchased the next day, I think that would support the whole unit for at least a week. That was the most important feature for me because I was worried that feeder lose all the settings if there was a power cut and my babies would not be fed on time when I am out. After I installed the batteries I cut the power and feeder just worked fine.4. Yes, smart feeding is great but is it really necessary? I did not want that on purpose because I really have EVERYTHING smart at home and wanted something that is hassle free and did not care if the connection dropped or not.Overall, I like this feeder and I recommend it. It has been 1 week and it just works fine. There is also a feature where it is possible to record any noise before feeding so that cats will know it is food time, if you don't want any noise it is also possible to delete it.Product Improvement Suggestions:- I think it would be a nice touch if it had camera on it (I know what I said about smart lol)- A screen between 2 cats, like a privacy screen- Different colours for the feeder

Soo convenient
I originally purchased this item for when I was on vacation and I wound up keeping it out every day. It's great not having to worry about feeding the cats because the machine is programmed to do so. Set up isn't the easiest but I'm also not that great with tech items

should’ve bought it a long time ago
We have 40 pounds of cat! One is 12 years old one is three years old, which makes it hectic for feeding time. The other cat is just so excited he used to pushes food dishes all over the place and then start eating the other cats food. With this, it keeps them eating out of their own dishes, since it doesn’t move. The other reason I got it was because I’m a sucker for their cute faces, and I have fed them way too much so this keeps them on a routine and eating proper portions. The other bonuses that I’m no longer considered the gravy train, and I’m not tripping over the meat bricks they become when they are trying to ambush you to feed them so we all win! I can now walk down the hall without being accosted for food - wow! The final added bonus is the entertainment we get out of watching them scramble from wherever they are in the house when they hear the beep of the feeder - all hard floors and them trying to gain traction to get there as fast as possible. It’s really easy to clean and refilling it is a snap. We’re actually going through a lot less dry food now than we used to with simply dumping it out of the bag into their dishes. When we first got the feeder it got plugged in and connected to my iPad and I was able to program it effortlessly. It’s now been moved to the area we normally feed them in and since there are no Electrical outlets nearby it’s been running on battery power. Either way, we’ve had no problems with it and wish we would’ve bought it a lot sooner than we did

This thing is the best! Basically, I don’t have to feed my cats anymore 😂
I set up this feeder before leaving town for spring break. It was easy to set up and it worked perfectly all week. I tested it a few days before leaving, of course, but I had no issues with it then, and still haven’t 2+ months later. It works as described. I like that it holds 4 D-cell batteries in case of a power outage—very reassuring when leaving the cats alone—and the storage container holds a lot of food! Like most, if not all, of the 7# Purina One bags I buy. The feeder can be programmed to serve up to 48 (yes, 48! I tested it) portions per meal and 6 meals per day. The portions are not large (maybe 1/4 cup—the attached photo may help visualize). I have my feeder set up to dispense into 2 separate bowls for 2 cats: 4 portions per meal, 2 meals per day and this is just the right amount of food for my two cats. I don’t use any of the preset alarms or a recording of my voice to tell my cats it’s time to eat; the moment they hear the food hit the bowl they go running toward the feeder. It’s pretty cute. I love it and, most importantly, my cats love it. Great product!

No worries feeder
I ordered this feeder a week before leaving for a weeks vacation and it worked great. I have 2 cats and the second the food hits the dish they fly to the feeder and I don't have to worry about feeding them for 2 weeks. Now if I could get something to clean the litter box that works as good I would be in heaven haha.

Flawed product/ Waste of time and money
The feeder is flawed. Besides the amounts "set" are completely random (it sort of serves the same portion as it fell in the rotating cup), they are of very difficult understanding. Setting up one cell (1.4 grams) or setting up 10 cells (14 grams) is the same amount and Still does not correspond to the supposed set amount.I've tried all combinations of set up for over 30 min and the results are highly inconsistent.Aside from the incorrect measure or amounts, (one can tweak weird amounts to have an approx serving per day) the division between the two bowls is always different because the splitter inside favours the left bowl over the right side. It's literally constructed with half the width on the right side. The idea is to feed two pets, how would this ever work equally if the machine is flawed by default? It's a waste of time and it's far from being worth 73 euros. Absurd.
