Cardone 27-6507 Remanufactured Power Steering Gear (Renewed)

I purchased and installed this power steering box because I had a bad leak on my old one. No problems with install. But as mentioned by other customers, it is very stiff and takes effort to turn the steering wheel. A lot stiffer than my old one. Otherwise, everything works as it should and hope the stiffness is reduced over time and I can turn the steering wheel with one finger as I did with my old one.

Worked on my 78 camaro feels like a lot of play when the car is off. But once running it’s very tight.

Product is great but doesn’t fit my 1979 El Camino. The pressure lines don’t fit into this product unfortunately.

Fit and wrks great

The power steering box that I received has a very stiff valving set up. Too stiff in my opinion and stiffer than what I would have expected from the factory. I am speaking about the power assist function of the box; it takes a bit more effort to turn the steering wheel with this box. Otherwise, everything works as it should and I have no leaks.

Work as it should core return was easy

So far works great now I need to get alignment

The power steering gear box for my 1967 classic Pontiac works well. I like it, and will order other parts from this company.
